Does my butt look big?
Guess what the last batch of hair I got from China burned my face if I touched it after working with it and god forbid I touch my eyes..I had to wash my hands right after working with it and it smelled of kerosene..

from what i gather, she only wore them just a few times. i bought flip flops before that hurt my feet because they werent broken in yet, but who would of thought that it would result in chemical burns like that.

Maybe she is allergic to something in them. There is alot more than sterile latex in the straps. My girl friend who must have about 50 pairs of flip flops about half of them from walmart has never had a problem. Or maybe its a select few pairs. But IMO i think she is allergic to some chemical used to make them. Hell maybe the guy who put them on the shelves touched something she was allergic to that day. And yes she has some nasty toe nails.

Would you continue to wear a $3 pair of flip flops after you had a reaction like she showed in the first picture?
The photo documentation seems like she's going for the $$$ after she realized the shoes were defective.

I have those same pink flowered flip flops and several other pairs from walmart and I never have had a problem. I really wonder how many other people out there have had something happen. It's not going to make me quit buying my cheapo walmart flips.

GEE, you mean to tell me that cheap chinese imports are manufactured sold and labelled under misleading or downright wrong pretenses? What do we think? The chinese industries want fast cash, and they know we'll buy cheap junk.

What does an allergic reaction to latex look like? Anybody here ever have one and does it look similar to whats going on here?

Funny how this happened to both my feet, but not as bad. I bought my flip flops from Payless Shoe story about 2 months ago. The brand name was American Eagle. My feet broke out pretty bad and finally are now scabbing over. This was a royal pain...the itching was terrible! My doctor said that I was having an allergic reaction to the shoe thong, experiencing dermatitis, but maybe it was this chemical additive.

After I had my baby the latex in the VS thigh highs burned my thighs and I only wore them for a few hours before I couldn't take the burning any longer. My burning was mild compared to hers, more like large welts.
