Oops - busy morning.

There are 3 lanes. The left lane is clearly marked on the pavement as turn only. The other two have no markings. There are two signals for the three lanes. The left one, for the left turn lane, has an arrow signal and a sign to the left of the signal that says left turn only. The right signal has a sign to the right of it that says right turn only. I do not see anything indicating the middle lane is a turn lane in any way, shape or form.

When did I ever say that it's ok to turn left from the middle lane on Pegg Rd? I very rarely drive on Pegg Rd, so I have no idea what the rules are at that intersection. You asked why you were getting red karma and I told you.

You can't read. Be glad...I just pointed out one of your shortfalls.

Well it is being brought to my attention now that I am WRONG and it's not you that did it, it was the person that called the police. Reason's I have been using the lane the past 3 months that I have lived here.

1. There are two directional lane signs. Left Only and Right Only. The center might as well have a big question mark over it.

2. I see NUMEROUS other drivers doing it with impunity.

3. I myself begin to do it at least once right beside a LEO, again with IMPUNITY.

You won't be scraping me off the road anytime soon, at least not there. I assume everyone is going to come over my way. I make a lot of assumptions when I'm on my bike that tend to keep me alive. BTW I'm able to honk, give various hand gestures, and make mid-corner corrections simultaneously so don't get too worried.

In case anyone cares....

Armed with my new found knowledge, I began to take the left lane this morning.

And it was not because 'someone' just knew they were right since they have been gifted with the glorious ablility to exercise common sense, it was because someone else took the time to do some rational fact checking.

Since you're a follower, go join the people who commit suicide, they do that with impunity also.

It is not a gift that made me respond to your lunacy. I know what the rules are because I have taken the time to read and educate myself.

Don’t be confused, I am not worried about you. I am worried about the poor fool that will have to live with the fact that they hit a guy on a bike even though the biker was in the wrong. This is where the term "Common courtesy” comes into play. You are not the only person on the road.

No. He said UNTIL SHA clarified the intersection, it was considered illegal to use that lane to turn. He said they put in a formal request ---actually 2 months ago to get this clarified. So its a coincidence.
I for one am thankful that they chose this route as it will save me from sitting through several lights.
