To the lady at the intersection today. Blue car.

Sorry the guy in front of me stopped short and the ass end of my car was in the intersection, I really am. I was stuck with nowhere to go and I understand you were frustrated at me and though I was an ass for blocking your way. I was pretty embarrassed myself, you see I don’t like being “that guy” and if there was anything that I could have done to get out of your way, trust me I would have.

BUT....you holding the horn down and then giving me the finger changed all of that now didn’t it? I went from feeling sorry to feeling vengeful In an instant. I could have sat there all god damn day after that. And then I showed you the bird too and told you where you could shove it you said “you want to get out of the car?” And started to open your door?? I’m a 6’2” 230lb dude and you’re a fat schluppy old hag. What on earth did you think the outcome of that encounter would be? Just FYI I had my 2 year old in the back seat so had you got your fat ass out of the car and threatened me in any way, shape or form, I gladly would have laid the smack down on your overweight ass and dealt with whatever consequences came my way.

Again, sorry I took 30 seconds of your day, I really am.

Vraiblonde approves this rant. :yay:

I, too, hate when someone else's poor driving inadvertently makes me inconvenience or annoy another driver. And I REALLY hate it when that inconvenienced driver automatically goes off the rails with road rage, like screaming and honking will accomplish anything. I've only had that happen once, and I'm like, okay how did you not see what just happened right in front of your face and you now want to risk pissing me off by being an ahole???

Speaking as a woman, she probably felt comfortable threatening you because it's a good bet you weren't going to get out of your car and beat her ass in public. She wouldn't have done that to another woman because the odds of getting bitch slapped are much higher.

I was 100% at fault. I should have stopped at the light but it was just turning yellow as a I was going through, but as always, traffic was creeping up ahead. I was hoping the guy in front would creep up, but that’s no excuse. I gave her the shoulder shrug and was mouthing “I’m sorry” but she didn’t approve.

Had she got out of her car and stormed up to mine with my kid in the back I would have backhanded her into a new realm.

Oh man, people behaving badly. I want to get a 360 camera mounted in my car so I can capture everything and then post moments like this on YouTube.

I started collecting dashcam video of people driving like asses, but it proved too time consuming to extract it and make a compilation.

My buddy has a company and he drives around in a big truck, which of course sits up high. He was asking me about an app where people could upload clips of people who were driving and texting/phoning. He says the number of people doing it is astounding.

The texting/phoning is terrible. My wife and I usually commute together and the times she’s driving and I’m in the passenger seat I’d say 25% of the cars we go by aren’t looking at the road!

I got stuck out in the GMR and R235 intersection because some dumbass decided to stop to let two cars in that were making a right on red from northbound R235. They couldn't understand why I was upset, wtf do you stop to let someone making a right on red in?

There’s a lot of dumb drivers on our roads, unfortunately I was the dumb one today. But this lady seriously wanted to thrown hands after I told her go F herself, only after she was giving me the double bird. That’s insane.

Yeah, I don't do that because I don't trust the ass in front of me to actually go through the intersection in a timely fashion. Then, of course, I have the jerk behind me honking and screaming because I didn't go ahead and block the box.

#### it!

I just get ahead of the whole thing and drive like an ####### ####### everybody off and enjoy it!

Then I kick back on the weekends and run the dashcam footage I collect on my 70" Samsung while I drink beer and laugh!

I'm the same. My car does not enter the intersection until it is clear that I have a 99% chance of getting through to the other side. Too much fear of ending up the target of scorn like poor @MR47930.

I was driving in bumper to bumper traffic in Rio one evening and didn't block the intersection like the other knuckleheads around me. A cabbie going through the intersection stopped his car in front of mine and start applauding me. 🤣

This happens a lot at the intersection of Crain Highway and Rt. 6 in La Plata. Making a left onto Rt. 6, people will crowd that intersection blocking the northbound lane. I do not enter that intersection, even if the light is green, until I know I can make it all the way through. But, there is always some a$$wipe behind you, who will lay on the horn like they're getting paid for it. Tough titties say I. I wouldn't want someone impeding my right of way, so...I'm sitting till its clear.

That's when it would be awesome to have a rear mounted rear pointing air horn. ROMP!!! ROMP!!! Discretely hidden, of course.

if you followed what has been suggested you would wait at the stop line (on the green) until the vehicle in front of you has cleared the intersection and there is room for you to do so. Okay, so by the time you would mover under those rules the people making rights would continue to fill up the lane in front of you and oh maybe 2 or 3 vehicles would get through the light per cycle.

Why do people leave 10 car lengths when they are stopped in line? How many more vehicles could get through, clear of, the intersection if people would just pull forward and make spac?

That is the major issue, if you stop to see the people turning right on red fill up the space. I've had this issue at the intersection of GMR and Shangrila in the mornings where gate 2 is backed up, you pretty much have to block or you will just sit there through light cycles.

Another treasured moment you shared with the passenger of your car. Which one is worse, them listening to you scream profanities or you using your size to beat up a woman?

So, you did something you weren't supposed to do while driving. You got called on it. Now, you are mad bacause you didn't like the response from the other driver?

So you're of the school that thinks that if someone admittedly did someone dumb, you're the one that retaliates and says hold my beer and watch this? Give it a rest, cupcake.
