To the owners of the A&E Motel in LP.

I just want to say thank you for the fine establishment you run. It is businesses such as yours which enhance the local community.

I had the pleasure of staying at the A&E Motel the other night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The sheets were almost clean and the prices were reasonable. It was nice that I didn't have to pay for a full night. I needed the room for only 4 hours and that's what I paid for. Your customer service exceeded my expectations. I was especially thankful for the knock on my door at 0230 in the morning by the pleasant young lady with one leg and no teeth. She offered to come in my room and take care of me if I needed her to. I was tired so I rejected her services.... I did appreciate the gesture though and your willingness to go above and beyond what other "more fancy" motels are willing to do.

Just a few very minor recommendations to improve your already stellar service:

1. In the future it would be nice if you offered a complimentary continental breakfast.

2. The free adult movie service was a very nice bonus. Complimentary KY Jelly would have made the experience even more exciting.

3. As I said the sheets on my very comfortable bed were practically spotless (with the exception of just a few mystery stains) they looked like someone was eating vanilla pudding with some sort of red sauce in bed. Not a big deal though as I'm sure they were washed.

Keep up the great service and know that your local community supports you. I hope we see more A&E Motels around Southern Maryland in the future.

Thanks again

I thought it would be nice to add a photo to go with that great review.

My Aunt and Uncle asked me if it was an ok place to stay when they came down for one night. I sort of steered them away from it.

Well that would explain the stains on my sheets! Thanks to the poster who added the photo. Does anyone know if this a "red light" area?

They tore down the sister ship Relax Inn in Leanardtown.. the A&E should be converted to a Historic Building.. complete with tours of chalk outlines.. lists of Venereal diseases found in each room.. incurables higlighted and starred.. and an estimate of how much MD 20/20 has been consumed and how many cheap condoms have been used on the premises since it opened.

I told the owners of the A&E they could use my photo for a Expedia.com review, but they declined

I'm just glad the hooker on crutches awhile back made a full recovery...

Could you imagine shining a black light around one of those rooms?
