when you do the same thing over and over and never see results from it, you tend to get discouraged from doing it again.

They should take a long term lease on one the nasty rooms, and have a sub-station there.

Every half hour or so go outside arrest someone.. go back in do the paperwork.

There's a sub-station almost next door in the shopping center near Radio Shack...

LOL My Karma is starting to look like Christmas lights. Yesterday it was green then it went to red then back to green today and now it's red again.

This is just hilarious. Please send me a PM when you give me bad Karma so I can atleast get some joy out of reading the reason why. LOL, bring on the red! Oh wait, someone here doesn't like me let me go jump off a bridge!

The police do patrol that area all the time, you see them everywhere, it's just that there are so many homeless or drug users and seekers out there they just can't catch them all. It is correct that it is the system letting them out not the police. I guess they get out on their recon. or bail? It is messed up. It's a revolving door for most of them. Now that it is getting cold they'll want to stay in the Leon. motel for the winter, 3 hots and a cot and tv too.

The hotel would alert the "staff". It is a shame that something like that is going on. I don't go into the park past Ihop anymore so I am not sure if that is where this place is or not.

I used to go to the movie theater sometimes with friends but wont go there anymore either.

No, it's the ugly orange building on Great Mills Road. If it's true women are being housed there as a "shelter" that's outrageous. Some "shelter". We don't have a mission around here anywhere? Okay, I looked it up and the Domestic Violence Office for Lexington Park is on Great Mills Road so I guess that's why they use the A & E. Anybody have property they don't need and want to use as a tax write off?

They get released from jail with no where to go and DSS will pay to put them up there and at the Days in the keep a couple of rooms aside just for DSS, I think they have contracts with various hotels. And they wonder why they keep coming back. They put them right back in the enviorment they want to be in, plus give them Temporary Cash Assistance and Food stamps plus whatever disability they are getting, or money for each babeee. Go figure, I don't understand there way of thinking.

I just want to say thank you for the fine establishment you run. It is businesses such as yours which enhance the local community.

I had the pleasure of staying at the A&E Motel the other night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The sheets were almost clean and the prices were reasonable. It was nice that I didn't have to pay for a full night. I needed the room for only 4 hours and that's what I paid for. Your customer service exceeded my expectations. I was especially thankful for the knock on my door at 0230 in the morning by the pleasant young lady with one leg and no teeth. She offered to come in my room and take care of me if I needed her to. I was tired so I rejected her services.... I did appreciate the gesture though and your willingness to go above and beyond what other "more fancy" motels are willing to do.

Just a few very minor recommendations to improve your already stellar service:

1. In the future it would be nice if you offered a complimentary continental breakfast.

2. The free adult movie service was a very nice bonus. Complimentary KY Jelly would have made the experience even more exciting.

3. As I said the sheets on my very comfortable bed were practically spotless (with the exception of just a few mystery stains) they looked like someone was eating vanilla pudding with some sort of red sauce in bed. Not a big deal though as I'm sure they were washed.

Keep up the great service and know that your local community supports you. I hope we see more A&E Motels around Southern Maryland in the future.

Thanks again

How about this little gem?

I sold a house back there 2 years ago for $325,000.00. and I loved that house it was the middle school that the kids would have went to that made me leave

Spring Ridge Middle School is actually a wonderful school with an extremely dedicated staff that truly cares about the success of their students. Have you by chance taken the opportunity to look up the data on state testing to see how much growth their students have had in the past two years. I think its
time for the community to stop putting down schools and get out and help them.

I live behind the BK and my streets are quiet all day. But as soon as it starts getting dark my kids are made to come in. Its a shame they can't play outside their own home without being afraid! My teenager thinks I'm mean because I won't let him walk to the Checkers and back with his friends. He doesn't believe me about the violence, I came home from a doctors appt. one day and they had 3 guys face down in cuffs on the street where Checkers is now. That was a few years ago, there is no way in HE!! that boy is walking down that road without his father or me with him! And yes, it does affect your property values!

I'm not the one who knocked Spring Ridge middle school. I was simply asking which middle school is attached to this area because I am considering purchasing a home in that neighborhood.
