Yes, it means I don't have the time nor desire to find out more about it.. and because I don't (and really don't have time to worry about it), I'm going on the input I see and have heard. And the actions of the person in question on here before my OWN eyes tell me she isn't not as helpless as some have made her out to be.
Do I wish her (or someone else who is handicapped) harm? Of course not. Am I 'Glad' they've got 'something' wrong? Of course not. Am I sold on the fact that whatever Tigger does have wrong is so bad it renders her helpless and completely incapacitated? NO! If it did, I'd hope someone overseeing her life would have pulled the plug on her forum connection a long time ago so she'd do herself no more harm than she's brought on thus far. But, since her own husband doesn't see her participation on this forum as a problem or detriment to her life or wellbeing, I see no reason why the rest of the world should tip toe.

actually, I'm not having a bad day at all. :shrug: I just hate seeing a few peeps come down on someone for something so stupid when he really didn't do anything that 90% of the forum isn't guilty of already.

Here's something to think about though ... along these same lines. Cops and firemen will come up with morbid nicknames and stuff for cases they've been on -- murders, violent crimes, etc. It doesn't mean they are heartless or don't care. It's just "their way" of accepting it.
I don't see the casual use of the word "tard" tossed out about some kid who drinks lab chems being any different.
