Ok parents, what is the going rate per tooth from the Tooth Fairy? My little one was upset with what she received this morning.....
She told me the dentist told her each tooth was worth $10...... :ohwell:

That dentist must be off his/her rocker...my daughter is 6 and she just lost her first tooth and the tooth fairy gave her a dollar and she was more that pleased.

I think $1-$3 is good, all though my b/fs little nephew swears the tooth fairy will bring him a million for his first tooth. he is cute.

They get 8 for the first one and $5 for all others

You would think that all the kids would talk and ask each other how much the tooth fairy brings them and then wonder why they all get different amounts of money.

I remember one time I swiped 5 bucks from mom moms purse and told them that the tooth fairy gave it to me. It seemed like a full proof plan at the time  They never questioned it though

I like to leave a little treat instead of money ....... coloring book & crayons, small handheld game, or something like that. You can stick several things in a bag, hide it somewhere and then pull something out as needed.

My daughter usually gets $2, but when she had her tooth knocked out with a baseball she got $10 courtesy of her dentist for pain and suffering because his son threw the ball.

WHOA

ten dollars is effing rediculous.

i know at least a couple times the tooth fairy brought me a silver dollar and a couple 50 cent coins. Maybe one "real" dollar and one silver dollar if you have them cuz those will be appreciated later on when the kid grows up....maybe.

There's just something a little weird about a "fairy" that sneaks into a childs bedroom at night and takes their newly lost tooth from beneath their pillow. What does he/she want with millions of little kids teeth?

last time my son lost a tooth I said " go ahead, throw it away " He looked at me like I was crazy. Hubby bust out laughing. I said " you know we are the tooth fairy so stop it already, if it makes you feel better here is a dollar " He was about 10yrs old I think.LOL, it was all done in love, my son is really spoiled believe me!
