My power blink off for half a sec about 3:30-4pm right in the middle of my Literati game. 
Now the thunder and rain are here and my Directv is out due to no signal. I am so ticked because I was just getting into Baldwin Hills.

Valley Lee area around 6:45 had a bad storm go thru. bad lighting and hard down pour. lasted about 45mins. I heard thunder again. I wonder if we are getting ready for another round.

I think we are going to have storms most of the night since they are all around us right now according to the weather channel..Hopefully none will be too bad to wake me from the dead tonight if so I guess I will get up and watch the weather channel till it calms down again enough to hit the bed for the 2nd time from whenever I go the first time that is lol.

So I am thinking, is SMECO keeping up with the residential growth and increasing the grid system or do we have to just get used to the fact that everytime we have thunder the lights go out. I was in kenya for 1 month and boy, 4 times out of the week the power would go due to the fact that the gov't and electricle company has not kept up with the growth. Therefore, the lights go off. I was in England for 2 weeks and with all the heavy rains not once did the lights go off, same thing in Canada.
