It was totally messed up too. I got pulled over for doing the old California Roll at the intersection right near the main gate.
I admit that I did it.
However, he said that it was the third time he saw me do it that day - but I had only been on base for about 20 minutes at that time, and had only passed one stop sign. So apparently there was another car like mine (I think I was driving a red neon at the time) buzzing stop signs on the base.
So he said, "I let it go the first two times, but you gotta stop doing that."
"Sir, you didn't see me do that before. I got here 20 minutes ago, and I've been parked most of that time."
"I saw you."
"No you didn't"
"Here's your ticket. Drive safely."

Your license can and will be suspended if you blow it off. I don't know that from first hand experience, but I got something in the mail that said I needed to pay it, or go to court.pappascw said:

No I am not playing innocent. So it was a stet not PBJ- 'scuse me for getting the terminology wrong. All I know is I had to go for 1 year with no further tickets on or off base and it was dropped.

Well, the one and only ticket I've ever gotten on base was for speeding and that was at least 10 years ago. After going to court, I got PBJ for one year and a fine after talking to Capt. Dougherty. :shrug: It was kind of weird as I had dated him many years ago.

Yeah, that would definitely fall into the weird catagory!!! Ah! So you are one of the ones that was busted for running the back gate stop sign. Actually, there were several people busted for that yesterday. They are cracking down on that stop sign, due to people NOT STOPPING! I know vehicles rarely come down the road at the back gate, but one day a car will actually come from the other direction and nail you when you don't stop - so be thankful that the officer made you think about it.

Thats why there was no fine. She took it out in trade?
