Oh yeah, way more words of the four letter variety in this movie than the first one.
Thanks

With the movie prices I didn't want to go see it first and then pay again to take him if it was ok for his age. I think I will wait til it comes out on DVD and go from there.

I want to see it. I need to find some free time lol

Hell, I still have to see the Terminator movie as well.

Transformers is sick.....the last hour is nothing but a battle....it's sweet.

IMO Terminator is a DVD rental....it was just barely okay...

:yeahthat: I didn't really care for Terminator either. I was dissapionted in it. But Transformers on the other hand.....AWESOME! I also want to see that movie they had a preview too, 2012. That looks kinda freaky.

ya...the only thing that irk'd me about the movie was the fact that they called the Hornets "F-16's" and they had Air Force markings on the carrier...that and Reapers can't terrain track in real time control....my wife says i always ruin military movies because i say, "that's not possible!"

I'm going to go see it again tomorrow night on travel with some guys who haven't seen it yet....same with the Hangover, have seen that multiple times...two good ones! I hope GI Joe doesn't disappoint.

I thought this was a disaster. It's an action movie with TOO MUCH action; the desert-set finale goes on for almost an hour! I figured the plot would be moronic and the humor crass -- one doesn't watch a movie co-produced by Hasbro for intellectual stimulation -- but I was surprised at how joyless and mean it all was. I was bored and annoyed, and my ears felt used and abused. There were a couple points where I honestly thought to myself, "I hate this movie and I hate myself for spending money on it." Such as when Shia LaBeouf's "comic relief" mom discovers pot brownies. Or when John Turturro (slumming for a paycheck) indicates he's below 'the enemy's scrotum.' Seriously, this is passing as entertainment?

A waste of time and money and it pales in comparison to other, superior 2009 summer blockbusters, such as the highly enjoyable Star Trek.

Then again, it's made $315 million thus far in America alone, so who knows... lol

I was gonna say, this person sounds like the kind of person that would really enjoy a movie like "A Beautiful Mind". While there's nothing wrong with that, if you go into the movie with that sort of expectation (even if you claim that's not what you're looking for) when you're watchin friggin TRANSFORMERS, then you're bound to be disappointed. Some movies aren't made for the critic-type and this is one of them. It got poor reviews from the movie critics, but a ton of people liked the movie anyway.

lol, I know it sounds strange, but it's the only way I could phrase it.

In my opinion, the best action movies -- Raiders of the Lost Ark, Die Hard, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The Rock (also directed by Michael Bay), The Dark Knight -- blend intense and elaborate action with character drama, mystery, suspense, etc.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was just noise, noise, noise, nonstop. And, yes, by the 135 minute point, I was more than bored by the continued robot mayhem. I didn't care whether the Autobots or the Decepticons found the Matrix of Leadership, blah blah blah.

I just thought it was artless, and action movies don't have to be.
