If time and money are unlimited, might as well take an around the world cruise. I'd sign up for all the shore excursions.

A floating cesspool isnt my dream. Seriously, how many places in the US 50 have you not been to? Canada, Mexico? Beautiful beaches, mountains, great people, fantastic food. From what Ive read about your travels, you are living the dream.

I'd like to head back over to Europe again. It's been a long time and I'd like to see the changes. Then Island life. Then all over the US again.

Right now - ANYWHERE - but here!

Last years trips were to Montana and Panama. So far this year has only been up to New England. As soon as all this chit lifts, I am going somewhere!

Not many places I have not already been.....and all the years of continuously traveling the world burnt me out on it a long time ago.

I would like to take a long winding motorcycle trip around a significant portion of the US though.

Thought provoking question. I have been so many places world-wide and now am hitting the age where my physical limits are a lot less than my desires but this is a bucket list item. I am a old iron steam fanatic. They offer a ride with the engineer trip.

I also think a summer windjammer cruise of New England and the Maritimes would be cool.

At this point, the only thing I'd want to do is take the Rocky Mountaineer across Canada.

I want to visit my childhood homeland of Naples, Italy again.

Besides that, I just want to travel the US and hit some of the places on my list. Grand Canyon is one of them.

In this lockdown...we subscribe to Acorn...been watching 800 words & Brokenwood--thus...I have a growing interest in visiting New Zealand. They seem to do a combination "Southern & Australia" mix and VERY small-townish.--and the scenery is spectacular.

Daughter spent her last semester in Australia at James Cook U. She, also, went to New Zealand, and Fiji. She loved every moment of it all. Even, back in 2008, Australians were not that friendly to Americans. I wonder if they have changed their mind about that.

A sub plot that runs through several episodes of 800 words...is the resentment toward the "summer crowd"...mix of Asians & Europeans--as well as Snooty wealthy Aussies. I suspect that attitude is there (unfortunately) No Americans have appeared yet.
If my sense of Geography is correct, nobody gets a good feel for NZ unless they travel widely and take 3+ weeks. It's not like visiting Martha's vineyard for a weekend. They DO spoof the Lord of the Rings tourists in Brokenwood. (Crime drama)

Somewhere where I can still see the Milky Way and every star that exists. I don't even know if there is such a place.

It is wonderful to look at the stars, and, I like to think my parents are looking down at me. But, our place as living beings is trying to fix the mess on Earth. Enjoy your walk at 3am. :)

Honestly, I'd love to do what Vrai and Monello are doing and see the USA in an RV. The farthest west I've gone is Michigan. I can't wait until 2025 when I can leave my job and move. We are seriously looking at Idaho, Montana, and Colorado. Watching Dr Oakley Yukon Vet makes me want to move to Alaska for all the breath-taking views but I don't think I'm quite that hardy to withstand that sort of life.
