From what Ive read about your travels, you are living the dream.
If it's not a dream, for us, it's pretty close. 1 thing I say often when discussing this topic is that "It's NOT for everyone, but it works for us". YMMV

Honestly, I'd love to do what Vrai and Monello are doing and see the USA in an RV.
If that is your goal, I hope you achieve it. Why not make a plan, then put that plan in action?

What is interesting, is that there really isn't a right way to do this. We often see couples in class B vans and wonder how they make that work. Then there is the couple that have a deluxe, 40+ ft class A and they tow an enormous trailer that has a vehicle, motorcycle and golf cart. Then there is every combination in between.

Without a recreational vehicle or trailer, you can rent cabins and cottages at many campgrounds. Often the weekly or monthly rate is a much better deal when compared to the nightly rate. It's a good way to get a taste of the lifestyle before you sink a bunch of money into a rolling home.

I want a RV and he wants a camper. We have to get through this battle before we can even plan a cross country trip.
