Tree down & flooding reports

Just heard on the scanner that it was just a tree on the lines and not a car on the lines like they thought it was at first.

Further clarification:
I just heard that there is a tree on the wires and subsequently there are also wires on a car.
The occupant of the car has been trapped in it for over an hour.

You're freaking me out, dude. I live in Wildewood.

Luckily (and thankfully) we haven't heard any trees go down and our power is going strong. Last year we the power was out for about 45 minutes and we didn't understand the full extent of the hurricane damage until we ventured out into main Wildewood.

I sure hope everyone is ok.

The person is now out of the car and safely at home.

Tree on a house, town creek drive. Occupants still inside
I sure wish our Town Creek people would check in...:frown:

They said the worst of the rain and winds would hit us between 8 and 2 a.m. based on Sandy making landfall around 8 p.m.... which she just did.
