Tricker Treaters where are you?

We never felt right about going to just any neighborhood, so we went to my parents. The houses weren't very close together. Everybody's sitiuation is different, I suppose.
We don't live in a neighborhood. Our trick-or-treating started in Callaway at one set of grandparents and ended in Mechanicsville at the other set of grandparents. We stopped at family houses in between. Made for a very long night...:dead:

We took the rats in the wagon attached to the back of the tractor. Neither daddy or I wanted to carry the two year old when he got tired of walking. Last year B had to carry the oldest half way home and he was almost four. BUT there weren't many houses giving out candy in our neck of the woods and we covered a good bit of ground. If we'd gone out on one of the main drags we wouldn't have taken the tractor. It did burn my arse when we drove over to my friend's house and there were a ton of parents toting their rats along in cars/trucks junking up the road so that people who had somewhere to go couldn't get there.

We got all of three kids at the house and maybe four babies with parents.. I'm going to pack on the candy pounds the next few days..

You should have seen BG shoving candy in their bags by the handful..

We used to go to Fenwick Manor in Hollywood where we knew many people there, or to my sisters neighborhood in Town Creek. Last night we were in Jabba's hood.

You should have come to my neighborhood. It is very spread out, clusters of houses about 200-300 yards apart with looooong driveways so I put the kids in the truck and drive them to a cluster of houses, then take them about 300 yards to the next cluster. Very dark, no street lights and spooky. The people up around the corner have a haunted house they put on every year, it rocks :yay: People in cages, a coffin, a robotic skeleton. I could hear screams all the way down to my house :lmao:

I got milk duds and malted milk balls coming out my ears.
I always throw a bag of Almond Joy's in my bowl. Amazing the kids pick around them and I get the leftovers. :yay:

I did see a lot of mom's with kids under 2 in strollers asking for candy. I take it Devil's Night was a prime-time for PMS this year. :lmao:
Parents (we were going to do it too) take this time with the babies to get out and meet their neighbors. Our chicken little wasn't feeling too good and was in bed by 6:30 so we didn't take him out.

We bought packs of animal crackers for the little ones becasue we knew we were going to see some, and also gave out candy for the parents.

We got to meet four families with little babies.. it's all cool.

I didnt even have to put a sign on my door this year thank god!!

U'd think no porch light being on would signal I wasn't giving anything out...some parents are so bold.

We had 67 kids. Kelly,Bud and I made it to Bres' house before Bud got tired. Peg stayed home and handed out candy(instead of popcorn). It was a good nite. :yay: :yay: Cool people walking the street with the kids and dogs. The neighbor across the street had the strobe and music and a son with a chainsaw. Kids came across to our house in tears. It was great. :lmao:
