The Trump campaign said Friday it nearly doubled its single-day fundraising record after a New York jury found Donald Trump guilty in his criminal hush money trial.

The Republican’s campaign said it raised $34.8 million from small-dollar donors in less than seven hours following the historic verdict

The massive windfall comes less than two weeks after Trump reported a higher monthly fundraising haul than the Democrat Biden for the first time in 2024.

The more the demoncrats to do him, the more popular he becomes. They are the best political supporters he has. They have no other candidate to run for president and they know Trump will win against biden. Scares them asshats to death!

I'm certainly no "cultist". You can find posts by me saying how much the man annoys me and I cant stand to hear him speak. He's always struck me an egotistical blowhard.

But do I also think he loves this country and has quite a few right answers? Its taken me a long time to recognize that just because I don't personally like someone's style, that doesn't make them wrong.

Forcing a level playing round onto China? Great Idea.

Charting a path to get clear of Afghanistan? Great Idea. Pity the other guy botched the execution so badly.

Getting all the nations in the Middle East threatened by fundamentalist Muslims to make common cause with Israel. Great Idea.

Making sure Iran knew that the fiction of using surrogates wasnt going work. Fabulous IDEA!!!!

Making sure that there wasnt going to be a flood of unknown and possibly dangerous illegal immigrants flooding across the border? Great Idea

Goading NATO member nations into upping defense spending? Great Idea.

Perhaps the biggest thing he did was sort of cage the diplomacy-industrial complex. Ever heard that Big Medicine doesn't want to sell cures, they want to sell treatments? I really think a lot of the State Depts efforts are partially to serve the notion that State is the only solution.

Agreed. Always thought that.

It's kind of like why people would go to Gregory House - on "House". Someone might say "why on Earth do you go to a doctor who's rude, blunt, doesn't give a rat's ass about your feelings and everyone who works for him hates him?". And the answer is always the same - because he's the best.

The reason why I am still voting for him is that - and another thing. See, the Dems got to slap a label on him - if only for a short time - of "convicted felon" - because after massively stacking the deck against him, and a little legal legerdemain they were somehow able to concoct a felony out of some legal records and parlor tricks. But he's still the same man.

When you find out some teacher, bigwig, corporate giant or politician has child porn or taken bribes or extorted money or corrupted government agencies and broken the law on an obscene scale - it does tarnish your faith in them. You realize - they're not the person you thought they were. Having once been in a cult - saw THIS happen - a LOT. When you learn the young evangelist who's actually been able to impress your normally jaded self has been screwing the teens in his youth ministry - yeah - you no longer support him (true story).

But Trump is the same man today as he was last month. The label is just that. He's still the best man for the job who's running. And he's leaps and bounds ahead of the man currently holding the office, who appears to be nothing but a senile placeholder for unelected handlers.

I wouldn’t say it’s a cult. I would lean more toward people are tired of the same old people not doing a damn thing in DC. Kind of like the black people believed Obama was going to help them if they voted him in office. We see how that worked out for them. People believe trump will turn things around for them and the country. Oh and it’s their money they can spend it anyway they see fit.
