Trump indicted

Trump was not the president at the time he took the documents. You cant wave a wand and declassify documents. You cant say I can now take these and do whatever i want with them because i was once President. Trumps documents had an even higher clearance than Hillary's and if anything should have been guarded more carefully. Not left unsecured in his private residence while the FBI asked for months for them to be returned.

Why cant you for once be ethically consistent in your disapproval of the sitautions regardless of who the person is?

You can't claim Hillary should have faced prosecution for mishandling docuemnts and in the same breath say Trump should not for DELIBERATELY taking classiffied documents to Mar a lago and refusing requests to return them.

Biden asked his lawers to search his property at his own behest and contacted the FBI when the documents were found.
Where did he take them from?

Is it your acseration that he snuck back into the white house while Biden was president and stole the documents?

It is well documented that he took his ball and went home before Biden was sworn in. This is a move that I did not like and thought it showed pettiness. But he was still president up until Biden was sworn in. So when did he take the documents?

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

The N.Y Grand Jury only needs to think they have reasonable cause to believe a crime has been committed, and only needs 12 of its 23 members to think this, in order to make an indictment. Remember, there is no Judge in the room ... and no defense .... and the entire grand jury proceeding is essentially controlled by the prosecutor. It is the prosecutor, who decides what evidence to present, picks the witnesses to testify, and instructs the jurors on the law.

When the prosecutor makes their presentations to the grand jury .... there is absolutely no one witnessing it .. who may object to what the prosecutor does, or says .... nor, if the prosecutor incorrectly explains the law, nor, if the evidence shown is valid, or not.

Everyone knows, as a former top judge in New York once stated, a prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich!

Now, Mr. Soros puppet D.A., make your formal charges and prove them beyond a doubt in a court, where a defense may examine and cross ... and a jury needs to meet a much higher standard ... than the normal morons on a grand jury.

Did you read the indictment? You do know a grand jury is made up of 23 private citizens right?

this is 34 sperate indicments not just the hush money payment.

Please at least educate yourself before you start shrieking. It's embarrassing,

You claim Biden is guilty yet he has been charged with nothing and claim Trump is innocent and he is the one facing charges? Do you need mental help?
When this becomes a big fat nothing burger And you are experiencing a more severe than normal mental health crisis for the umpteenth time, here is a new way to reach out for help in the U.S. You can simply call or text the numbers 9-8-8.

Famed attorney Alan Dershowitz, who represented Trump in his first impeachment trial, told Fox News that “any first-year student could win this case if the name wasn’t Donald Trump and if it wasn’t in Manhattan.” Dershowitz added that the case “has to get out of Manhattan.”

“I would try to move it to Staten Island or some upstate venue. But could you imagine a judge or a juror coming home to their wife and family and friends and saying, ‘I’m the man, I’m the woman who let Donald Trump off.’ Nobody would ever speak to them again. … There’s no possibility he can get a fair trial in Manhattan,” Dershowitz said.

Scott Greenfield, a defense attorney in New York who is no fan of Trump, told The Daily Wire that it was impossible to truly comment on the indictment until it is unsealed.

“But if the indictment is what has been discussed and what’s expected, there are serious doubts the case will survive a motion to dismiss or result in a conviction,” Greenfield added.

William A. Jacobson, a Cornell law professor and founder of the conservative legal blog Legal Insurrection, echoed these sentiments, saying that “unless there is some surprise, this appears to be a politically-motivated legally-questionable resurrection of stale misdemeanor charges bootstrapped into a felony using a highly unusual legal theory.”

Where did he take them from?

You are missing the point. It doesn't matter when he took them. What matters is he had them in his possession and was no longer president. The FBI tried for months to get him to return them and he refused,

There is now a separate investigation in to Trumps mishandling of these docuemnts.

"The Justice Department and FBI found new evidence of possible obstruction by the GOP firebrand tied to their investigation into classified documents recovered at Mar-a-Lago last year, the Washington Post reported Sunday.

After Trump’s advisors received a subpoena in May demanding the records back, the 76-year-old ex-commander-in-chief leafed through some of the boxes of top-secret government documents in an apparent effort to keep certain things in his possession, according to the report, which cited people familiar with the probe."

nvestigators also have evidence that indicates Trump told others to mislead government officials in early 2022 – before the May subpoena – when the National Archives and Records Administration was working to get back documents from Trump’s time in the White House, the Washington Post reported.

I guess you are not going to answer how he took them after he was no longer president and in Florida already when Biden was sworn in. He was president up until Biden was sworn in.

Do you stand by the statement that he took them after he was no longer president?
Be patient my dear.

Do you do nothing but sit by and whait for me to post?

So you lied or didn't know what you were talking about? Which one was it?

Neither you were the one who made up a story about Trump sneaking into the WH after he left.

I said he was in possession of documents he was not authorized to have.

You made up an entire conversation and scenario in your head based on your ignorance of the situation.
