We don't put political opponents in jail in this country. They do that in Russia (2).
Correct on (1), Mitch McConnell already set the president-elect straight on the senates view of term limits. But the people can do it by pushing for a convention of states.
It's the power the people have to modify the constitution if the elected representatives in congress fail to initiate the action.
On item (2), there is certainly evidence that both did not act in the best interest of the United States. However, the burden of proof for treason is extremely hard to meet, probably because the punishment is so severe.
I would say that both Clinton and Obama took actions that were not in the best interest of the United States, that if they were officers in a corporation they would be terminated and sued for failing to uphold their fiduciary responsibilities.
I refer you to almost every treaty they signed. Those treaties, whether it was with Iran, Climate Change or Pacific Rim trade, imposed hardship on US citizens or put them at greater danger, than before the treaties were signed.
In short, they put "globalism" ahead of national interests. In that regard, follow the money.
