So you just want Trump to continue lying to you?
So you just want Biden to continue lying to you?
Facts are Facts. If one person says something not true time should be paused and the truth and the source should be explained.
Again, this would be whom? CNN, ABC - do you see them as honest brokers? What would be the source for these facts?
Pretty simple.
Yeah, you are the epitome of simple.

No. If he lies the fact checkers should stop the debate and explain what the truth is and the source where their information came from.

You believe anything Fox and Newsmax tell you despite both of them paying hundreds of millions of dollars for lying to their viewers.

Neither CNN or ABC has suffered the same fate.

I wonder why that is?

So, by your estimation as to the lies one participant tells, plus my estimation as to how the other lies what are we going to get as far as substance?

Because they got their losses the old fashion way, they suck and don't really have much of an audience.

So if your two have paid out almost a billion each and the two i pick have never paid out it stands to reason my sources are more trustworthy.

Especially when you have the head of your corporation saying under oath he wanted Trump to win and that was his goal with many of his news stories.

Just like the head of the Enquirer testified in the Stormy Daniels case.

CNN ranked number 1 in cable news this year so yet another thing you are wrong about.

Why do you just lie about everything?

I’m old enough to remember when debates weren’t about gotchas and the true/false false dichotomy but rather IDEAS. What a crazy thought!
I don’t recall them ever being anything but political theater, from Kennedy in TV makeup to “where’s the beef” to “Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine” to Gore’s sighing loudly and walking close up in Bush’s personal space. They’re talking points having little to do with questions asked and for at least thirty years - very often not at all civil.

They have never been Lincoln/Douglass style gentleman exchanges.

At this point, I wouldn’t mind an old fashioned wrasslin’ match. About the same.

What’s the point of a DEBATE if a third party determines if one participant is wrong? Isn’t that what a debate - is? Each debater refuting and disputing what the other says?

If Joe lies out his ass, it is UP to Trump to say “there you go again”. If Trump drops a deuce, it’s up to Joe to call him on it.

It’s beyond ridiculous to think either participant should have someone do their work for them. Why bother with the debate? Just have a beauty contest and let the moderators duke it out.

Wasn't Lincoln referred to as a shaved ape in a debate?

A damned long armed ape by the Secretary of War. And he was called worse in the press.

On the other hand, the press is SUPPOSED TO BE adversarial to the President. Always. It’s only the past couple decades they’ve decided to kiss one side’s ass.

And that was before Lincoln chose him to be Sec War.

Yep, the press/media have changed what the 4th estate was and not for the good.

Calling it now, Biden's last words will be "Trump still lives."
