A forthcoming U.N. report on climate change will provide the most credible evidence yet of a human link to global warming and hopefully shock the world into taking more action, the panel's chairman said on Thursday.

The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), due for release on Feb. 2 in Paris, draws on research by 2,500 scientists from more than 130 countries and has taken six years to compile.

"There are a lot of signs and evidence in this report which clearly establish not only the fact that climate change is taking place, but also that it really is human activity that is influencing that change," R.K. Pachauri, the IPCC chairman, told Reuters.
I'm interested in reading it, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Holding your breath might be the thing to do. Considering that in 1900 the world population estimate was somewhere around 1.5 to 1.8 billion people and in 2000 it was around 6 billion. With about four times the population is it any wonder that an impact is being felt?
I think we should hold our breath on a rotating basis delineated by profession...starting with lawyers since they expel the largest volume of hot air. :yay:

Why do you suppose they have changed their slogan from GLOBAL WARMING to CLIMATE CHANGE?

...or call it "choice" rather than "abortion"? It's all marketing.

Global warming goes against what I want to believe, therefore it isn't happening. :yay:
Actually my reasoning is much more simple. In the 50 generation before it affects the planet all my descendants will all likely have been slaughtered by Muslim invaders, so I don't care.

MSNBC isn't gaining viewers and the numbers are down since the network launched and MSNBC didn't beat FOX News in the 25-54 demo because the FOX fans don't want to believe it, thus it didn't happen. :Yay:

I also noticed MediaBistro chose not to publish the hour by hour because it doesn't fit Brian Stelter's agenda. That's why more and more people are going to Inside Cable News.

If you watch Al Gore's doc, you'll see there is a direct link between human activity and global warming.

Did he also give insight how he invented the internet in this said documentary?
