I feel the need to report in since everyone was so helpful to me. A friend offered to take me yesterday, then this morning she didn't come thru. I ended up calling Lyft and was very pleased! The first driver was here in 15 minutes and the driver to get home was there in 5 minutes. My anxiety was for nothing as usual

naaa, won't even bother to ask why you say that. I've used Uber and Lyft all over the country, but not here in SoMD.
If you didn't notice I mentioned not seeing many rides on the app. I could pull it up now and see how many drivers were active in this area, including Solomons if you would like.

She left somd because of forum posts? Someone seeking information for the first time doing something is idiocy?
I was hoping to see the answer to why she still frequents the forums for the idiocy that made her leave. Is that not insane? If a pearson was eating peanut butter saying they hate it and keep taking in spoons of it.. I'd have to wonder if that was idiocy or insanity.

I've read a couple of her posts, talk about idiots, pot calling the kettle black if you ask me.
I understand the confusion of the OP. Taxi, Uber, Lyft, which one do people recommend because I need a ride and have to be at my appointment on time. Didn't see anything wrong with that. If you haven't had need for the service, why would you be familiar. Without bring the app up on my phone, I was trying to remember if you could schedule a pick up in advance. I think I did that on vacation, to go from my hotel to the airport.
