:lmao: Gotta love having your mom posting on the forum.
it's all good  THAT doesn't bother me, since it wasn't my own doing. Now, when I cut his little, precious daughter's silky, long hair off and send HER in to mommy and daddy next week to wake 'em up, I hope he remembers he has payback coming to him. :really:

At least he didn't pull out all his eyelashes. My cousin did that, and looked like a freak.

But wait, there's more...
My brother and one older step brother put nair hair remover on my younger step brother's eyebrows when he was asleep. When he woke up, they were all over his pillow, but he didn't notice till he went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. :roflmao:

I shaved my eyebrows come to think of it. It looked horrible. I started to pluck them and said this hurts, then took the razor and well. :ohwell:
So, who does he take after? You or your hubby?

I don't really remember cutting my own hair, but I do remember being little and finding the scissors on the bed next to the cat.

When my mom turned around, the cat had lost her whiskers on ONE SIDE.

My mom said, "CityGrl, WHAT DID YOU DO?"

I said, "Mommy, I cut kitty's hair!"

You come near my daughter with a pair of scissors, and you'll be lucky to come away with a nub.

I know you were talking about your brother and niece, but just informing you of the consequences should your adventures in cosmotology continue and spread beyond the borders of your family.

I never cut my own hair as a child but Mom always seemed to butcher it on her own. I don't think I ever had real bangs until HS when I wiould pay a pro to cut my hair. Before then they were always crooked or just about not there.

Then there are the time when she decided my long, to my waist hair would look better in a pixie cut - UGH!

My daughter cut her hair when she was 4... Thank goodness my husband was the one to walk in and find her... I didn't know if I should scream or cry! So I cried when he brought in the long strands of hair... Thank goodness she cut it off of the side and not the bangs!! Grew back fast enough and you couldn't tell... Such a kick in the gut feeling!

My son cut his hair once, but you really couldn't tell. I think he was 3 or 4. It's always a good laugh to see some of the kids and how far the the scalp they go.

I like some other folks used to cut the hair on all my dolls and actually wait for it to grow back out... then realize it wasn't growing out fast enough and give them another cut... I have lots of bald dolls at the attic at my parents house... :frown:

It won't end anytime soon kizz.... Rachel cut her hair just before 9th grade started. Poor baby walked into High school with nubs for bangs! :ohwell:

:ohwell: wasn't trying to be funny. I'd also have them practice fire drills.... I'd be teacher, they'd be the class and I'd have an itinerary set up for what we did at what time and a certain time of the day was our firedrill... I'd set the alarm clock... ding.. ding. ding.... , etc... so it would be going off and I'd talk to them and usher them bald dolls out the room making several trips to expedite them and get them to move alone -- goodness only knows what that must have sounded like from downstairs... an alarm... numerous trips back and forth, etc.... :roflmao:

I never cut my own hair- but one of my brothers did- and he hid the clump of hair and the scissors under the couch--"so my mom wouldn't know!" :killingme
