I would daresay that few deputies, even rookies, are at the low end of their pay scale after overtime and off-duty security. (Unless they don't want to do those things.)

Isn't that the truth. I get paid a few bucks more for working a Sunday. Guess one has to love the line of work and not the money.

Sounds like he put a key logger onto your computer. It will record every keystrokethat you enter via your keyboard and nothing short of reformating your hard drive will get rid of it.

I had a friend that put one on his own computer to get his girlfriends email password cause he suspected her of cheating on him.

That's why we aren't justified to expect more of them. I say double their pay, and expect complete professionalism. As a parent, I know that if I treat my kids like losers, they will grow into that expectation. Same goes with the police. These guys face idiots who are willing to use weapons, we expect professionalism, yet we pay them like they are unskilled labor. Maybe that's why they do things like selling evidence?
