I've been trying to read Rand's contemporary, Isabel Patterson's The God of the Machine. When I first started, it was out of print so I downloaded a pdf from the Mises Institute. I'm sorry but I cannot read a book in pdf form on a PC.

I see that it is back in print now so I buy a used copy and give it another shot.

It's like Tolkien. I loved that story and the characters... but reading that mfer was just ... I dunno.
