Sticks and Stones may break my bones
but words can also hurt me
Sticks and Stones break only skin
while words are ghosts that haunt me
Slant and curved, the word-swords fall
to pierce and stick inside me
Bats and bricks may ache through bones
but words can mortify me
Pain from words has left its scar
on mind and heart that's tender
Cuts and bruises now have healed
it's words that I remember

Amber’s death was caused by her own hands and her own poor judgment, and it is sad that this lack in judgment cost her the one and only life she had. We all hope that we are never left behind knowing such pain, but I’d imagine that pain would be much greater knowing that her poor judgment included an innocent life of another.
I do hope that the family will speak out as a public awareness to other people in hopes of preventing future tragic accidents such as these. My children have seen these vehicles on display at various events and I hope that it will leave a lasting impressing from the moment they have car keys in hand and beyond.
