You have various felony crimes in Maryland. 1st Degree Murder, second degree murder, second degree murder depraved heart. 1st degree child abuse, child sex abuse (felony but not first or second degree) sex abuse to a minor, (felony but again, not classified) 1st degree rape, second degree rape, 1st degree sex offense second degree sex offense, 3rd degree sex offense, theft over $1000.00 (not classified) burglary 1st degree, burglary 2nd degree, Manslaughter, (not classified).

If I am wrong and you are right, could you tell me what class or level a possession with intent to distribute is?

If they do bring suit I hope charges are filed for tresspassing & harrassment @ Solomons Landing, & Breaking & Entering at Calvert Marine Museum. Many facebook videos showed them doing this.
I think the Solomons Business Assoc. should get together and ban all skateboarders from the boardwalk and from the business parking lots. It can be done Wildwood did. Then all the punks little friends will know it's all because of them that they cannot go out and peacefully skateboard.

Unfortunately, because most of the offenders are (currently) under age 18, any charges against these young men will not be public knowledge. We will probably never know for sure if they have been charged with loitering, trespassing, harassing the residents of Solomons Landing, destruction of property, etc. I do believe any charges and or convictions as youths will be hidden away and the only public info will be available after they are 18 and start accumulating charges and convictions then.

Unlike a lot of posters that are offering opinions on what they have read here and in the papers, I am basing my opinions on my personal real life experience with these youngsters as not only a business owner; but also a customer of many of the establishments in the Solomons & Lusby area that these youngsters hang out at.

Can you tell me where the levels fall? I can tell you that a subsequent failure to register as a sex offender is a felony with a five year maximum sentence , where a misdemeanor second degree assault carries a maximum 10 year sentence. Care to explain that within your theory bob?

Yes the kids were in the wrong to harrass the residence. Sure I would be pissed off if they were doing that to my grandfather. But you cant just go around shooting people that piss you off.

Which part is absurd.. The kids driving an intelligent sane person to the point where he did pick up the gun, or him actually shooting it? Remember this isn't a single incident, but one of MANY incidents over a very long period of time.

You do know they had physical confrontations with this man in the past do you not? That they harrassed an elderly lady that couldn't even take out her trash without these angels harassing her..

Did you know the cops were called several times, and the kids just kept returning and upping the harassment? Do you know these kids set out that day with the sole intent of harassing Mr Arminger? That they joked about how him and an 18 year old in their group came to blows in the past, and wondered if they could get Mr Arminger to "lose it" again?

So yeah. I aggree.. it was unbelievable that local law enforcement allowed them to harass these people to this point.

I agree I really wish law enforcement would have stepped in and cant believe they didnt. I am sorry you cant go around shooting people that piss you off. It is against the law. I hate to see where we would be if everyone exacted their own justice.

For an entire year an 8th grader harrassed my son (a 6th grader) at the bus stop. My son was kicked, punched, pushed, and teased day in and day out. I complained to the school, other parents who saw this stuff happen complained to them. Nothing was done, since it wasnt on the bus or on school grounds they could not step in. I called the police several times they couldnt help. Did I go down there and beat the #### out of this kid? No. Did I spray him w/ mace or shoot him? No. Did I want to beat his ass? Hell ya I did. But I am an adult and I know better. I know it would be against the law and I could have gone to jail.

I don't know the context of his "apology", but didja ever think that his apology was - perhaps - in the line of "I'm sorry that I'm in this situation" vs "I'm sorry to the boy that I shot".

His apology wasn't necessarily directed to the harassing brat.

But again, I admit, I'm unfamiliar with the context of Mr. A's apology.
