Dog in need of rescue. Aprox.6 mos. old. Female. German Shepard mix. Very sweet.

Crack ho was kicking it in the yard and it followed my neighbor's kid home from a walk. Owner was contacted and said she didn't care if my neighbor shot it:rolleyes:
The pup is sweet and she's going to be rather large.

Thsi kind of crap makes me sick, the pup looks like it hasn't eaten in days.

Please PM me if you have any ideas or a place in your home

TIA

I don't even live near that.. The crack ho is a girl who's friends with my son's half sister, so I wasn't surprised that she did it. She's the same chick who's kid has been seen in the middle of RT249 and been brought in to Abell's Tavern until he could be retrieved..:tantrum:
I actually live 5 miles from Abell's.

I really can't accomodate a dog that large in my small yard. It wouldn't be fair. That's why I'm being so selective in finding my own pooch. If worse comes to worse, I won't send her to a shelter, I'll just keep her until I find something. Problem is, my daughter has ALRREADY named her:bawl: I can see tears coming now.:banghead:

I'm PLEADING for SOMEONE with a resonably sized yard to come meet her. I"ll bring her to you. I can tell she's been hit, she flinches when you first approach her.

GREAT! now i'm getting upset..:bawl:

Thanks Catt.... Contacting them now.....
:sniffle:
I'm too sensitive for this crap.
:sniffle:

They may not get back to you until tomorrow.

CAWL is fairly new. It's a really, really nice shelter just across from Calvert Hospital on Stoakley Road.

If you can keep her a few days, Magsr might be able to help.

This time of year is bad because shelters/rescue organizations are so full of dogs and cats.

Damn it, I wish I could take her! :tantrum When I lost my dog last year, I vowed to never get another dog. I get WAY too attached to them.

That biatch needs a :wench: . What the hell did she think she was doing?? :cussing:

I truly hope that you find a great home for that little girl!!!!

I don’t blame you for being sensitive. An innocent animal doesn’t deserve to be a punching bag, period.

I’m sure you will find her a good home. :yay:

I contacted MASGR first be email.

It looks like the dog will be staying with us.... My daughter :smack: took it opon herself to go tell the neighbors that we would love to have her and she loves "SAMMY". The dad was apparently more than heppy to even give R. a leash to use.

Here we go!
:jameo:

(Before I had kids, I used to take in every stray animal and human I ran across. I can't really fault my daughter, she's just like me. I remember having a one bed room house and 7 dogs:lmao: I'm still feeling weepy:sniffle:

But wait, there's more...
What about Gumbo? Wasn't he looking for a dog that might alert him to any possible dangers around his house/shop?

German shepherd mix might be right up his alley.

He was looking for mean dogs that were on the verge of going to death row at a shelter. This little thing is a puppy and deserves a chance to be a pet in somebody's home IMO.

I think he found his junk yard dog. This little girl doesn't seem at all the protective type. She's still a :baby:

I'm starting to like her already:jameo:

I bet she knows your home is a loving and caring home, with loving and caring people and she will make a great pet.

We rescued the kitty under our deck in February and she hissed, spit (never saw a cat spit like that before), bit, you name it and now, she is the most loving cat I’ve ever had. We are working on manners. :ohwell: She will snatch food right off the counter, and she goes to the bathroom in my house plants.

I have no clue where my stray came from but it wasn’t too long ago that nearly a 100 cats and kittens were captured about 2 -3 miles from here and euthanized.

your kitten was probably just wild. I've seen some nasty cats come out of the woods.

I haven't and grew up on a farm but nothing like this. I was scared to death to take on the challenge and even questioned if I could do it. The vet talked me into it.

I think it takes a great deal of patience to nurture an abused, abandoned, pet into trusting. I started reading forums that dealt with those issues and they were so helpful in describing the behavior I was seeing.

She is roughly 8 months old now and I answer a lot of questions about her small size to people who visit here and don’t know her story. But, on a positive note, she has really gotten heavy the past month. Her hair is so soft and not patchy and rough like it was. :yay:

Contact Well Pet Clinic (Animal Relief Fund). 301-866-0303. Speak to Kathy or Irma. Explain the situation to them and see if they will take the pup into their program.
