Valentine's Day is coming

Speaking of V-day gifts.... #2 and I are sitting on the couch last night watching tv, an ad for flowers, a vase, and chocolates comes on. Being the darling sweet child he is, he announces that he's buying me 3 things for v-day. I kiss his sweet little face and tell him that he doesn't have to buy me anything and that daddy told me last year that he'd picked out a ring in a paper ad, they were sold out by the time they made it to said store, and babe was heartbroken. I told him not to try to get me anything, I know he loves me. He then says that he wants to get me 3 things and a ring too.... but it'll have to be a cheap ring because his dad isn't going to give him a whole lot of money.... :ohwell: :lmao: I love that kid, he gets his "matter of factness" from his mama!

In My Opinion
In all honesty, if you have to subscribe to a holiday invented to boost sales in certain markets during a slow period in order to let your Wife/Husband know how you feel.
should you really be married anyway?

Want to impress her? Do what I do, randomly throughout the year send some flowers to her for no damn reason.
Nobody, or no designated day should have to tell you its time to recognize their role in your life.

1). Get a cardboard box of medium size
2). Cut out a bunch of paper hearts (preferably in red construction paper)
3). Write "I Love You" on the hearts.
4). Fill box with paper hearts.
5). Close box (do not tape it shut).
6). Write and attach a note that says "Open this box, but do not look inside. Hold the box above your head and flip it upside down. Turn the note over after flipping the box."
7). She will most likely be confused at this point, make sure she does it.
8). The paper hearts will fall out of the box onto her.
9). She will then flip the note over, and it should read, "How does it feel to be showered with love?"

You can also add flower pedals if need be....

Be warned, you'll have to top that next year

If you have been married for any length of time, her response as she looks at all the little paper hearts all over the floor will be.

How does it feel to have a vacuum cleaner lodged up your ass.
