And right smack dab on the money.

Are Democrats just this stupid? You'd think if they wanted to pretend Trump is disappearing law abiding citizens they wouldn't choose to get behind an El Salvadoran gang member.

Then I remember that David Hogg is a vice-chair of the DNC and I realize that, yes indeed, they are all ****ing stupid. It's hard to believe there's literally nobody in that Party with a working brain cell.
This is the first post I'm seeing on this thread, so forgive me if this has been covered already - if not a hundred times before.

Democrats attribute Trump's success - to optics. It's all about presentation. They've been saying this, for YEARS - "we didn't explain our position" - "we didn't communicate our message" - and not in so many words but "the voters were too dumb to get the point".

They alluded to this extensively on The Five yesterday, and the explanation was spot on. They compared it to a chef whose food CRITICS declare as outstanding, but - the public thinks is awful. The chef decides he needs to explain why it's good - the critics chastise the public for not being very sophisticated - they need a better PR campaign -

But the food still sucks.

So - the Dems TRY and switch gears - they try to be "relatable" - but despite what Goldwyn said you can't fake sincerity. Sooo - they try to be "hip" - by bringing on celebrities and rock stars (who personally don't care about the issues and have to be PAID) - but it doesn't work, and people come for the performances. Sooo - they try to mimic Trump by being blunt and "masculine" - and fail, because - well - there's just not anything "masculine" about their message - and not a lot of visibly masculine representatives.

The common thread in all of these ? No substance. As Jesse said, "all sizzle, no steak". And voters - EVEN Democrat voters - just don't want it.

just for him to be deported again?
THIS is the crux of the matter - Trump and his administration say that the Alien Enemies Act gives him the right to deport them without going through another lengthy court process - and while I don't know the legal details, I can easily imagine the wall that would be thrown up were it necessary to tie up courts with EVERY SINGLE DEPORTEE.

The Dems, in their much vaunted defense of democracy, which is merely a thinly diguised political assault on Trump have glossed over this, because - well, it's true. IF THEY BROUGHT HIM BACK, they'd go through the pointless maneuver of their version of due process - and he'd be deported - AGAIN.

This by the way, is the basic model of how government wastes time and money.

Van Hollen has already gone on record saying it doesn't MATTER if he IS MS-13, because "it's all about due process" - to which the Republicans - WEAKLY - have answered that due process wasn't much on their minds when ADMITTING so many people into the country, much less criminals and gang members and humans being trafficked.

Because they want to posit - let's go back to the hysteria during the campaign - it's all about stopping a dictator from expelling legitimate citizens down the road - because let's face it, none of their hysterical predictions about the end of democracy have come even CLOSE to fruition.

____________________________________________________________________________________

Which itself - is revealing. Because it pretty much reveals, they KNOW he's not a citizen. Heck, they KEEP BRINGING UP the reason he's still here, is the threat from Barrio-18 - a rival gang to MS-13 - which isn't logical for them to be a THREAT after so many years IF HE IS NOT MS-13!

And I get tired of hearing the "disappeared" line. That's not how you disappear people. Ask Jack Ma about being disappeared.

Plus, Barrio-18 doesn't exist anymore. So the reason for not deporting him back to El Salvador is gone.

I mean I guess the prisons could be full of BS-18 former members, but they are not active out in the general public.
Is there any good reason to believe that Barrio-18 members would hold a several years grudge against a person who is NOT MS-13?

If I was a Democrat then the answer is yes, but I have a functioning brain so no.
I thought I heard Jessica TRY to interrupt the Judge the other day, claiming the "danger" is NOT because he is MS-13 but for another reason.

Still, from what little I know of cartels and organized crime - they do take affront to their "authority" personally.
But my gut says, they carry a six to seven year grudge against someone egregious rather than some inconsequential little rat.

Garcia presumably had a "rank" of "chequeo" and a street name of "chele" - which the left says doesn't necessarily carry any status, but could be the equivalent of a pledge to a fraternity with a nickname --

This does however dispel the notion COMPLETELY that he had nothing to do with the gang.

I do have to admit though - I'm not privy to some smoking gun that indefatigably declares him MS-13. All signs point to it - and in a U.S. court, what we have would easily convict him as such - the dress, the pictures, the social media, the tattoos, the allegations and so forth. I'm inclined to believe SOME of the evidence which has been declared confidential, points to something more blazingly clear.

I'm however a little pissed that it may become necessary to reveal confidential intel JUST TO SHUT SOME OF THOSE on the left up. Perhaps the Trump administration needs to have a meeting with the WaPo and NYT- letting them know upon pain of prosecution, what THEY know, since they're the biggest purveyors of the Maryland Dad imagery.

I don't go to Reddit that often but just took a dive into the \Maryland board and saw all the love for VanHollen. All they talked about was this poor immigrant, never a mention that he was in the country illegally. Kind of sickening that the rule of law is just ignored by so many.

All of those /(state) subs are leftwing shills. They never talk about the actual state, they just bitch about Trump and spread propaganda.

This is because we have become a nation of insular people. If it doesn't directly effect me, my family, or those that I care about... it doesn't matter.

One of the things that's beginning to seriously piss me off about Facebook is - I can BET that ANY RESPONSE to ANY POST - no matter the subject - will have at least ONE post about Trump, or MAGA or conservatives - and I mean, it can be about a RECIPE, or sports or ANY subject.

These people are so deranged they don't know it. They're like that guy in the Progressive ad who can't stop talking about his motorcycle - even seeing his motorcycle in a piece of abstract art.

Thing is - I think Trump was unprepared for this avalanche of lunacy the first time around. What does he do this time? I know he has said that success will be his revenge - but I'm concerned it won't be enough.

I don't know many places in the world where - in REALITY - this isn't true. Certainly about as good as it gets is, racial or ethnic pride - as say, in Japan, where if it's not Japanese, eff it.

I've certainly noticed that the whole atruistic idea of thinking planet or the globe or the human race SOUNDS noble until someone has to DO something - and then the truth comes out. It becomes, yeah, you first.

Prior to the election, I talked with my wife that although I would be voting for Trump, I could see him being stonewalled by the Dems in every way possible over the next 4 years. From what I am seeing, that is exactly what is happening with the assist from a few ******* Rs.

Only Facebook? That literally happens here too.
It is extremely rare that a posted topic DOESN'T have a post about either Trump or evil Democrats.
