Ours has been out since yesterday morning. We called them and they said there was no outage, your line checks out fine and it must be your modem (they've said that before and our modem was fine). So we called the modem people, they checked it out (2 hours) and said once again our modem was fine.
So we call verizon back, they still can't find out what the problem is and want to charge us for some expert technical service? We decide nope on that one. Finally we call them again later when our neighbor was out too, and they tell us, oh there is an outage in your area and it should be resolved by 9/8/12 at 8:00 p.m. WTF what a run around and two days or more without service? Unsat!
