Circus Circus is cheap but it is also a crap hole. It is not a good place to stay at.
Stratosphere is cheap, rooms are small and it is at the beginning of what I call the lock your car doors area.
Luxor- Nice rooms are clean. They are also a bit small as well. Word of advice it is hard to stand straight in their inclinator( Elevator). especially when you are drunk.
If you are going to pay money for a room go to the Venetian. All of their rooms are suites and they are very very nice.....
Stardust - yuck!!!!

Now Circus, Circus and MGM Grand has indoors amusement parks..The kids would enjoy it. Excalibur had the medieval time restaurant and also carnival games ( so does circus, circus), And the Rio has the masquerade in the sky performance( free beads) Rio is very upbeat hip place for the younger crowd..
To be honest just walking around in the hotels is amusement enough..
If the guy are into cars the Wynn has a Ferrari dealership in the lower lever It cost $10 to get in and view all of their cars...

This may come a surprise to those of you not living in Las Vegas, but there are actually more Catholic churches than casinos in Vegas.
Not surprisingly, some worshippers at Sunday services will give casino chips rather than cash when the basket it passed. Since they get chips from many different casinos, the churches have devised a method to collect the offerings. The churches send all their collected chips to a nearby Franciscan monastery for sorting and then the chips are taken to the casinos of origin and cashed in

Now that we have our hotel, what are some area attractions that are a must? I'm assuming you can walk through other hotels, but are there restrictions? How far away is the Grand Canyon? Any good shows to see? But most importantly, how far away is the Bunny Ranch?

But wait, there's more...
Area 51 :yay:

And don't forget your headgear!

We drove from Vegas to the Grand Canyon and it took about 4 hours one way. They do have helicopter tours that will take you there and back, but they are pricey.

That was the neatest hotel. I enjoyed walking through it. I also like the hardwood flooring at the Palms. My hotel was of course my favorite.
