I went to school in white trash central but i am from pittsburgh.

we have a couple furniture stores there :)

Last years grads? I didn't even have furniture. I slept on skins from deer i wrestled to death and got my alcohol from the kindness of strangers.

Where have you been? i went to your office last thursday and one of the ladies there told me you were out for a month or two but she didn't know why or where. Who the hell has 2 months of vacation time?

Pretty good for only working here for 18 months eh? I'm just biding my time waiting for the phone to ring, until then, working on my tan, swimming with the kids.. sailing.... crabbing... fishing.. Looking at the price of housing and contemplating getting my Real Estate License while I have some down time..

Good, work on that license and in 2 years you can find my house for me because from what i hear it's a major pain in the ass. my officemate (3 months younger than me.. arrgh) just bought a house and goes on and on about it.

Come over for a beer, creep.

Target is so much nicer and there prices aren't that bad. I transferred my prescriptions to Target too. Hate standing in line forever to get my prescription.

I love Target, too...I can shop there for purses, clothes, work shoes, school supplies....toiletries are a bit expensive though ($4 for shampoo?!?!?!), and stuff like laundry detergent & kleenex are cheap at Walmart. So in August when I stock up for school, I get the fashionable (I know, that sounds really snobby) stuff at Target, and then stop at Walmart for the basic, essential stuff. :yay:

Better service? I hear this all the time. What service am I getting at a grocery store? I walk in, pick up some crap, pay for it, and walk out. What else are they supposed to do? Are you talking about the lunch meat counter and whether or not the person smiles?

 everyplace I've worked, I try to be nice to the customers, I've never had to be a salesperson walking around, but I'm used to the register work where I just say "hello, how are you" and "have a great evening" and make general chit chat so that at least it's more personable and you generally want your customers to come back and shop again.

the employees are just trying to earn their paycheck like anyone else, whether you're ringing up groceries, trying to sell a printer, or you're working in an office somewhere....you're just doing your job, and sometimes if there's a commission involved, they're just trying to do what they need to do. besides, it's hard work to stand on your feet for hours at a time, inside the same building, listening to the same songs played every hour.

I'm for the expansion of the Walmart in Prince Frederick. They say it will cause more traffic. I don't believe that is the case. What is the difference in building one big store or several little crappy ones. I don't think we need another video store, liquor store, dry cleaners or coffee shop in the area. To me that's just alot of the same old crap. I'm sick of the strip malls. I would love to have a nice store where I could do my grocery shopping as well as my other shopping.

For anyone that would like to see the expansion, today they have a petition at the Walmart for you to sign.

I do like the Target stores but I don't want to drive a 1/2 hour to get to one. How about they change the Kmart in Prince Frederick to a Target? That sounds great to me.

Isn't Wal-Mart talking about a Dunkirk location? Seems to me that Dunkirk or Prince Frederick would be good spots for a Target.
