Sucks!

OK, so here's the timeline of last night's events.

6:15~Drop 3 Rx's off. Explain to girl that I'm supposed to be on bedrest, but I need my diabetes supplies (syringes and insulin) ASAP. Girl says no problem, they'll be ready in 30 minutes. :yay:

6:55ish~Go back to the counter pickup. Not ready yet. Not even entered in the computer yet. :frown: Sit back down.

7:15~ Go back to the counter to find out WTF is going on. Pharmacist told me to wait just one minute and they'll be ready.

7:45~ Once again, go back to the counter to find out WTF is going on. This time I said nevermind, just give me my damn Rx's back and I'll go elsewhere. Pharmacist says that it is almost ready and to sit down.

8:00~Pharmacist calls my name. Go back to the counter thinking that Rx's are ready. Wrong. Pharmacist hands me a bag with a box of syringes. Dumbfounded, I ask WTF is this. It took them almost 2 hours to drop a box into a bag. Pharmacist asked what I meant. I explained that I had 3 Rx's. 2 for insulin and 1 for syringes. What the hell was I supposed to do with a box of syringes when I have yet to receive my insulin? Pharmacist looked blank. Then, insisted for me to wait around for 5 more minutes so that he can fill that Rx.

8:10~Pharmacist calls my name again. Mam, your insulin is ready. WRONG AGAIN! He hands me a box with 1 vial of insulin. Dumbfounded, I ask where the other vial is. He has to check.

8:15~My son is half falling asleep hugging his balloon, so I walk back up to the counter. Pharmacist says to wait just a minute. Tech is getting it out of the fridge now.

8:22~Once again, I walk up to the counter. This time I speak to the other Pharmacist. I ask WTF is going on. He looks at the computer and tells me that they are out of my other insulin. Come back tomorrow evening. Not a chance. Never again.

Over 2 damn hours. :tantrum:

Anyone else in here have issues with them?

tired and content....
I have never had to deal with Walmart Pharmacy. What you explained reminds me of CVS on Great Mills Rd. They are TERRIBLE when it comes to things like that. I was very irritated when I left one time just because of the service.....VERY RUDE! I swear, most people in customer service are terrible!

Go to Giant Pharmacy. I've Never have had a problem yet. I Used to got to Walmart and left for the same reason. I tried Target and the only 2 times I tried to use them they didn't have the medicine I needed in stock and it wasn't like it was an unusual medicine just normal antibiotics.

I have never had a bad experience at Target. I guess that I should have added that the only reason that I went to Wal*Mart was b/c my son wanted "Hicken Huggets". I figured that we'd be able to eat and get my Rx's. :banghead:

Last time I used Wal-Mart was like 4 years ago. I dropped off Rx for my son and 1/2 hour goes by they call my name tell me they don't have whatever it was I needed for him. So off to CVS to get it. The lady at CVS says it can't be filled. WHAT???? She calls my insurance company and finds out that it had already been filled. Um no it hasn't. Wal-mart left it in their system as filled, even though it wasn't. I always go with CVS, never had any problems!

I havent had that experience yet with them but i have had it at CVS drop off 4 and they give me excuses about something and then they say 20 minutes and it took 1 1/2 hours then i get home and realize they miss printed the directions of how to take 1 a day and it says 3 a day if I didnt have a brain I would be dead as the medicine written would have killed me. Luckily I read it and I called and they said bring it back in they will print as the doctor prescribed. Were did they get the degrees or what ever they need to work at a pharmacy.

I count about 73 words in the first sentence. No wonder it made my brain hurt.

I usually mail order my prescriptions, but the few times I've used a pharmacy, I've gone to Target. No problems so far... :fingers crossed:
