Wal*Mart Pharmacy~California...

crabcake

But wait, there's more...
Walmart seems like a huge PITA if you're only need is prescriptions. Why not pick some place that is more convenient ... with a drive-thru.

St. John's :yay: :yay:

And let me tell you something, not a week goes by that something isn't needed from there!

If they don't have something in stock, or are short, they will accomodate you. Their hours aren't as convenient as some of the others, I guess? But, they are dependable and reliable and the staff is usually very friendly.

Give 'em a try!

I guess that I should have added that the only reason that I went to Wal*Mart was b/c my son wanted "Hicken Huggets". I figured that we'd be able to eat and get my Rx's. :banghead:
You're taking your life into your hands eating at the in-store MickeyDee's. It's absolutely filthy. :dead: The last prescription I had filled at Wal-Mart, I wandered over there because I was starving. I would have been better off grabbing a box of crackers off the shelf and eating those. :ohwell:

The ONE time I tried Target they were the most disorganized bunch I'd ever seen. I think they'd been sampling.
.

I actually think the Target group is wonderful. I cant stand the way I feel when I go into WalMart for anything. There is no such thing as going in and out!!

My cat thomas is diabetic...I went to CVS - took me an hour the first time, because I had to a lot of explaining he was a cat. Seems he has the first and last name of a well known Doctor....the pharamacist insisted that Dr. So & So is not a diabetic...Like I'm gonna get stoned on glipazide (sp?). :twitch:

I like the fact that you can order on-line with CVS, say the night before, and I've never had any problems since the first time. I'm referring to the CVS on Rt. 235 in California, MD.

I guess they will even deliver to your home, but I've never tried that.

I havent had that experience yet with them but i have had it at CVS drop off 4 and they give me excuses about something and then they say 20 minutes and it took 1 1/2 hours then i get home and realize they miss printed the directions of how to take 1 a day and it says 3 a day if I didnt have a brain I would be dead as the medicine written would have killed me. Luckily I read it and I called and they said bring it back in they will print as the doctor prescribed. Were did they get the degrees or what ever they need to work at a pharmacy.
Take a deep breath or your meds.

They sound almost as inept as the chuckleheads at the Rite Aid in Charlotte Hall.
Ain't that the freaking truth! Rite Aid SUCKS! The first year we were lived here, we used R.A. In that year, not ONCE did they get a prescription right and in the amount of time they stated it would take. Favorite was when I dropped off a 'script in late morning (11ish) was told an hour, and went to get it at about 6:00. It took them 5 minutes to find my 'script, only then tell me that they were out. And it wasn't some exotic drug. Just a plain old antibiotic. Now we use McKays. They have YET to screw up.

I haven't had to use pharmacies enough to hate any one, but the Target in Waldorf once told me they were out of my birth control (after waiting for 30 minutes) and asked if I wanted to wait a week until the next shipment came in. :killingme

OMG, I gave them one more chance (walmart) yesterday - because it was convienent to me. Never again. 4.5 hours it took them to correctly fill my prescription. And while I was there they gave some lady someone else's medicine -she didn't realize it until she got home and went to take one. And good lord, my mistake for wanting to get sudafed :goodlord: You'd think I was a drug lord supplying crack to 4 year olds.

I would just like to say I called my doc this morning to see if a script could be called in for me. Not a problem. Went to the CVS I asked it to be called and no waiting. It was already filled.

I will not go to another pharamcy.
