Nope, they lived in Carrington. They're zoned (along with Bannister) for LaPlata. My sisters and I went there too. Paul Thomas lived just a few streets down from me and my sister and I are friends with his sisters Cindy and Theresa.
They graduated the same year as me and I was zoned for McDonough, living in Carrington. LaPlata zoning ended two years before I started high school.

My son and I witnessed a gang fight in the food court on a Saturday night in November. We grabbed our food and made a dash for the door. Young gansta's fightin' each other and UNarmed guards fightin' the ganstas. Haven't been back since. Sent letter to mall management and got back some really asinine reply.
Were they all lined up snapping their fingers beforehand? You know, like West Side Story.

Now that I sit and think about it, I think they used their grandma's address to go to La Plata

I went to McDonough because I was zoned for McDonough. I should have gone to LaPlata but they rezoned two years before I started high school. I'm not saying they didn't live in Carrington (I never saw them or heard of them living in my neighborhood) just that they are my age and graduated the same year as me.

Haha Waldorf Worldwide is on the radio right now!

Whoever said they wanted to know when Hilary Duff was coming around - I can't confirm but she may be here next week with Joel Madden.

I'd love to meet her myself.

It would be a hoot if any of his family reads the forums. I think in Pandora's defiinitive post of the word ghetto that Hilary was using it the way Muffy did or Paris would. I don't know if that is bad or not.

Yeah I have a posting on INC about the whole thing.
And I'm sure they would want to know who I am if they found this out - I am your typical obtuse "unidentified sources" blogger.

Duff on Her Virginity and Stuff

Hilary Duff has gone through many changes since she first started seeing Joel Madden two years ago, and while her waistline may be whittled down and her smile made-over, she insists there's one important thing that's remained the same.

"It's hard having a boyfriend who's older because people just assume,"
the 18-year-old starlet explains to Elle of the Good Charlotte rocker, 27. "But [virginity] is definitely something I like about myself."

Chimes in her mom, "The truth is Hilary is a very chaste young woman."

Not surprisingly, Hilary is happy to talk up her ink-stained beau's finer qualities (besides his seemingly unparalleled patience and open mind about dating teens): "He doesn't socialize. He's very real, like, he's from a pretty ghetto place in Maryland. He's a strong believer in God. I like that." This summer, Madden plans to take Duff back to that "pretty ghetto place," which is also known as Waldorf, to meet his mom.

"I really want her to see where I grew up, because [it's] sort of a humble place. It's not Hollywood at all," he tells People. "I want her to see that different life and take her to the jobs I used to have -- unloading trucks, making pizzas and waiting tables."

Most of L.A. and Hollywood ain't that great either - I know I was taken back...

Now, folks, Waldorf is large and sprawled out and highly variable in character. If a portion of it is a ghetto, then some other portions can't be. As a matter of fact I've never been to any part of Waldorf I'd consider a ghetto although there may be some such parts for all I know because I haven't searched the place thoroughly.
