AndyMarquisLIVE said:Do you trust FOX Nothing Channel or do you hold them to the same amount of credibility as you hold Olbermann?

OK, Congress gave the President the authority to declare war and I don't dispute that. In fact, I'm ready to cerk out on Hillary Clinton over her remarks today about how she approves weapons inspectors to go to Iraq not a war, even though the weapons inspectors were ALREADY IN IRAQ.vraiblonde said:yourself. Just because you can't think for yourself and need some television personality to give you your opinion doesn't mean everyone does.
For the record, I rarely watch TV. I catch O'Reilly every now and again, and I haven't seen Hannity in months. Limbaugh is out of the question because I'm typically at work when he comes on. I catch a bit of Laura Ingraham on my 10 minute drive into work. The most Fox I watch is Fox and Friends when I'm on the treadmill, unless there's something more interesting on the Food Network or TVLand.
What I do is pay attention. I've lived for 43 years and have not developed the amnesia the Left seems to have, so I remember things like the Iran hostage crisis and the Mariel Boat Lift, not to mention the first Gulf War and subsequent events. I also read a lot (which leaves little time for TV) and I'm one of those rare people who actually learned something in my high school Civics and History classes (that's how I know that a President doesn't have the authority to declare war).
And when Clinton (whom I despise) signs an Iraq War Resolution to much acclaim and applause (including my own), then Bush signs THE EXACT SAME THING with most of the same people voting for it, yet HE is roundly booed and hissed, I notice it.
And when little twits such as yourself have absolutely nothing intelligent to say and whose idea of political discourse is to call our President names and kirk out over some news show because it dares to give a different side of things, I notice that as well.
So you can sit there and spin your head around, worrying about everyone being brainwashed by Fox News while you yourself are admittedly brainwashed by Keith Olbermann, but that doesn't make you smart or cool. It just makes you a brainwashed kook and I will happily make fun of you because, hey, if people are going to be stupid, I should at least get some amusement out of it.
Michael Crichton once said, "If you don't know history, you don't know anything. You are a leaf that doesn't know it's part of a tree." AndyMarquis, you are that leaf.
Whenever I see those MSNBC ratings posts, I read them as:hvp05 said:And while you were typing that, he was doing this.
psssssssssssssssst, I don't think it is going to work. I would be willing to bet she still thinks you are a goober of epic proportions even though you are now giving her a Olbermann like lip lock upon her ass.AndyMarquisLIVE said:OK, Congress gave the President the authority to declare war and I don't dispute that. I'm just as critical of the Democrats (and even Olbermann) as I am of Mr. Bush.
I'm actually growing more in support of this war seeing the actions of Iran and North Korea.
And, whenever I watch FOX Nothing Channel, it's the same Democrat-bashing "They're gonna cry when their hero is hanged tonight."
If you go to the William Arkin thread, you'd see that I'm plenty critical of Olbermann and MSNBC.
And, oh yeah, I supported Mr. Bush in 2004. If he were running against Kerry again, I'd support Mr. Bush once more.
Whatever. You're still a kook who spews immature crap like "Fox NOTHING ChannelAndyMarquisLIVE said:
Prove you're not an immature kook. Go read the Iraq War Resolution, which you can find in a Google search, not to mention in several places on here. Once you've read it, you will be tested so I know you really read it.AndyMarquisLIVE said:And I don't buy the "We gave the President a blank check" argument either. The Dems supported the war because they don't have the balls to stand up for their moral convictions. That's why they won't do anything about Iraq.
Fool, Democrats have no moral convictions. They live by the poll, prevailing winds. When it was chick to be mad and kick Iraq's ass they couldn't line up fast enough, the minute the wind started changing they couldn't bail fast enough. "But.. but... but... I voted against it before I voted for it." They are no more the "party of the people"AndyMarquisLIVE said:And I don't buy the "We gave the President a blank check" argument either. Is that what you wrote? Because I have something for you:AndyMarquisLIVE said:Congress does not have the power to pull us out of Iraq, only to question the reasons we are there.
Macintosh before that...Pete said:Fool, Democrats have no moral convictions. They live by the poll, prevailing winds. The liberals all come in here and play the antagonistic inflammatory game because that is their nature. Forestool is the prime example. The moron hasn't had an original thought, a grain of integrity or moral courage since they invented cut and paste capability in Windows 3.1.
vraiblonde said:I find that attitude disturbing. People are #####ing their faces off to get smoking in restaurants banned, however it seems some naked skank's hmm-hmm is acceptable restaurant decor?
And a violation is a violation - no different than if the restaurant were serving minors or serving after 2am (or whatever the cutoff time is now). Besides, the cop would catch some mugger and the judge would just let them go anyway, so what's the point of the cop wasting his time on that crap?
No she doesn't. If she doesn't like it, she doesn't have to go there.princess73 said:She does have a great point!
AndyMarquisLIVE said:Rex Coffey has an agenda. Plain and simple.
I voted against him, but since this county's so damn liberal, people voted because of the (D) next to his name instead of listening to his take on the issues.
