Waldorf the Next PG County....

Yeah, Waldorf is disgusting. But the DC thugs will just keep moving south, destroying our counties in the process. Joy.

I love Waldorf! I don't think it is becoming the next PG County. We moved to Waldorf recently from a rural part of the county. I love being 5 minutes from everything. I hated driving 30 minutes to get a loaf of bread. And when we are sitting on our deck at our house you can't even tell you are in Waldorf. We have a nice, quiet neighborhood and great neighbors. People that don't live in Waldorf won't to give it a bad rep. More businesses are going to bring more crime. It doesn't matter where it is.

Does anyone else see the lunacy of believing that it's *businesses* that bring crime?

Sure. Businesses bring either:

A: Places to rob, OR
B: Employment so people can buy things that other people can steal

Therefore businesses bring crime. Elementary.

Aaaah! Of course. By extension -

More people - more murders.
More women - more rapes.
More youth - more gang violence.
More children - more pedophilia.

I love the rationale that associates the *target* of crime as being the *cause* of crime.

:lalala: I've lived in this area for 40 years and have watched Waldorf go down hill since the late 70's. St. Charles is going section 8 faster than gas prices go up. You can have your beloved Waldorf.

I totally disagree with that LOL!!!

Section 8 is no longer being accepted by alot of people who rent out their houses, and the waiting list is almost 2 years backed up...

people who are moving into these houses that you think they get by section 8 actually are PAYING EXPENSIVE RENT or the interest only loans( which of course will screw them in the end)

RIGHT! See how that works? If it weren't for those damn kids, there wouldn't BE any pedophilia.
