Iv'e ventured there a few times at night. It was a real war zone. I am lucky I made it out alive.

I've never once had anyone even slightly scare me in Waldorf. The teens in the mall? Big deal. They are loud, clique-ish, you know...teens!

I've never had a problem either. I'm not one to venture ANYWHERE alone at night though. I'm kinda retarded and tend to get lost easily. I think I have Alzheimers. Anyway, what was I saying?

It actually makes me laugh at how scared some people are of big, bad Waldorf.

the county it borders doesn't help.......everytime they catch someone who committed a crime its always PG......

PG isnt trash, its just some of the certain people who live here. I'm in PG, luckily no trashy people live around here. MOST of the crime in Waldorf and where I am is commited by DC Residents :shrug: therein lies the problem IMO

It's more than just the teens. I know of several people who were either robbed or carjacked in broad daylight at that mall. Sure, that could happen anywhere, but it seems to happen a lot in Waldorf. :shrug:

I drive 1.5 hours to do my Christmas shopping because I refuse to go to St. Charles.

Well I've lived in North Waldorf in Pinefield forever.. then moved to middle Waldorf behind the bowling alley for a few years now I am a true Southern Marylander and have lived in St. Murray's county for 11 years now.. and well I prefer living down here, but when holiday's dictate.. I visit the parents... up in the "dork"

I mentioned the teens because of the hood rats comment. You are right that those things happen at the mall. They happen at almost every mall though.

Yeah well I walk around the mall doing the finger signals of Waldorf, MD, just like the guy that does the Volkswagen commercials. "VW".. I do "WM".. nobody messes wiff me..

Agree......I haven't stopped going to Waldorf nor will I. It's just in the back of my mine when I leave anywhere and especially after dark. I have my kids to think about......They want the first crack at stealing my money.

The Mall sucks anyway.......It's a revolving door of stores.....go there next week and I bet something will being closed and a dollar store or barber shop will be added.

I just shop on line, comes to you and you save money, not only in gas but you can get some great deals.
