Mostly known as a BIOTCH
Well given the history of my family, we decided that the bi-county factor was satisfactory. We didn't want to pollute the tri county area.

Are there thugs in St. Mary's that want to own Calvert?

Depends does Calvert sell beer in a 10oz can and play softball 7 days a week? If so I would be concerned :yikes:

I gotta say "I don't think so". So I guess we're safe then?

I lived across the street from the movie theater in the town houses (not the nice one's across from the mall - the 3 story one's); but in Lancaster, for the last 5 years. The neighborhood is bad. You can not go out of your house at night..period. The food delivery people won't even get out of their cars because the police tell them not to, you have to go meet them at their cars. My car was "entered" 4 times and once rolled into the middle of the street. Windows were smashed out of other neighbor's cars. My neighbor's work van, well let's say, was damaged. They tried to use a crow bar to gain entry..didn't work, they bent two doors in..so they moved on to bolt cutters. Thankfully for him, that didn't work either.

I moved just after Christmas and things are peaceful again. The shopping centers are fine. I do not feel scurred when I go to the mall or the grocery stores in Waldorf. I even bought some jewelries for my two girls on Valentine's Day at the mall and survived.

Waldorf is no worse then Lexington Park

LP is "candy land" compared to Waldorf......LP has its share of crime and it is increasing....But statistics would prove that the number of Violent Crimes committed in Waldorf would dwarf those of Lexington Park

I lived in Waldorf for ~3 years near Bannister; I remember when I moved in that the area was already notorious for certain activities.

I was never assaulted or anything... but I'm glad I moved away from the pit.

In my opinion, Waldorf is unattractive for many more reasons than the crime rate alone.

I lived in Bannister too, in the early 90's. It wasn't real bad then, but it was starting to be that way.
