He is not all that big...He weighs only 1 pound, 6 ounces...he should be at least 2..
But he is healthy, solid kitty who loves his kibble....so time will tell.
He gets his second distemper this Thursday.

I had him on the couch last night takeing this latest set of pictures.
He is a study in constant motion!!!
Beazer is always keeping an eye on him and making sure he is cleaned!
One thing about my Beazer..he loves the foster kittens and does a great job of cleaning them, grooming and fussing with them, as a momma would!
Beazer was an orphan too.
So, anyway, trying to get photos, and trying to keep him in one area was a trip!!!
He would walks towards me, and I would pick him up, and put him back...he would run towards me, jump on my shoulder.....and I would pick him up and put him back.....
He is quite the shoulder kitty...love to be there and does a great job of staying there as I walk him thru the house!!!
He has JUST had a bath prior to last nights photo shoot. He does well in his bath too.
I need to get some "blueing" shampoo..it is for white coated animals and brings out the white and removes some of the brassiness white coated animals get.
So the next set, his flame points should really stand out more!!!!

awwwwww, look how handsome the little guy is getting! It has been so fun watching him grow.

It is OK...Very OK to use any of Wallys pics for your avatar.
That is Stella, rescue from a locked car in late spring several years ago. One kitten died and her brother, Stanley, was adopted.
Stella got adopted, but we took her hback after the new family kinds abused her and her buddy Beazer.
Both live here forever, in sanctuary...never to be adopted out again.
Beazer loves the babies, always cleaning them and being very careful at play.
Stella loves to snuggle with them....the 2 of them make great foster cats to the babies.
Wally is doing great!!!!! 4-5 more weeks and he will be in his new home!!!!

I love happy endings. Are you keeping wally longer because he is underweight? or was that when you planed to meet baliey.... I remember it was october, but I thought the beginning of october.

Ink is kind enough to deliver, we worked out a plan and she can get him 80 miles from my home, I will pick him up from her then. I am having friends over who have watched me go thru this adoption process and we are going to have them over for a WELCOME HOME WALLY party.
Nothing big, dont want to scare him, just a couple friends. I want Ink to come too, but I have yet to speak to her about this, so INk, can you stay for a get together and dinner at my home on that Sat afternoon. or is that too late. I just dont know how to thank her for all shes done. 
But it has been an excrutiating wait. I really cant wait to meet Wally, my baby.

Looking at "schedules" I plan on delivering him Thursday as my class begins Friday at 1PM.....So Nov. 6th....Late afternoon???
We will work out the details..

awe, that is soo cool, having a welcome home party for wally! I am so glad he is going to a great home. I think Ink did a wonderful job saving him and bringing him along as far as she has. I am sure this is great satisfaction for her knowing she brought him from near death to the loving home he will have with you. Thanks to Ink for being a lifesaver and stepping in without a moments thought and offering to take him, giving up sleep to feed him in the wee hours in the morning, for taking him to the vet and caring for him after his surgery and most of all keeping us updated with his pictures and videos and thank you bailey for adopting him and giving him the uncondtional love he deserves.

I think Inky should do an in home visit and deliver him to your door
Door to door delivery as promised..but a slight schedule change.. I will be in VA at a training instead of "there"...
So delivery time any time after Nov 12th....to the 16th......Or from November 3rd to the 7th
Then life gets a bit crazy again.
I am booked EVERY weekend between this one coming up and November 9th.
Right now I have 3 kittens charging around the den and kitchen...
Wally and his 2 brothers...one who looks just like Wally, execpt ssith a full sized tail and shorted fur.
And I am 2/5th of the way through bathing and worming 5 other kittens.
Going up to Wildlife Rescue (Gerdas) to work for the day...
And YEA!!! Boston Red Sox, ( Wally's favorite baseball team) won tonight and captures AL/East and goes on to meet ( ohooohhhhhh....
) the Tampa Bay Devil Rays......A few pics from tonight will be up later.

Hey...Wally was not at deaths door...just very tiny and very hungry.
Had you not found him, he would have died.
And there is always room for "one" more...........
I decided tonight, I will miss my tiny shoulder sitter...and he LOVES to ride on my shoulder and sit w/ me in me chair, on his back on my chest and have his belly rubbed...like a dog would!!!!
Right now he is back in his cage and as soon as I find the other 2, it is bedtime.
More playtime tomorrow night!!!

First set is of Andy...he is a real sweetie and needs a home. He is ALL vetted and just needs someone to love him.
Second 2 are of Marly...he was moving way too fast for me to get some good shots of..
And finally, his Lordship, Sir Wally, King of the Clean laundry pile!!!
I am off to bathe one more dirty kitten and I am off to bed.
