I kinda got the impression from the previews his acting was gonna be on the more looney side than Wilder's was...

now i'm thinking of Blazing Saddles....lol

But exactly what is a "believable" Willly Wonka...I don't remember the book...maybe Depp's portrayal is more like that in the book than Wilder???? :shrug:

Blazing Saddles is one of my all time favorites! Any Mel Brooks is great though.
