How about the ashtrays?
Grandfather had one of these. Wish I still had it.

My mother collected the S & H Greenstamps and Yellow stamps, about every six months or so we would drive to the redemption center to trade them in, I remember a pair of lamps for the living room. When my daughters were little, we collected the McDonalds characters plates and glasses. Of course we also had the jelly jars/glasses from the Flintstones. I remember my grandmother collecting dishware from a box of soap powder. And all the stuff that used to come in cereal boxes.

When I was little my mom and grandmother collected Green Stamps and gave them to me. I kept the little books under my mattress until I had enough to buy what I wanted. I got the black Drowsy doll and kept it on my bed until I got married.

Just sneakin' around....
I used to work at a Texaco, and one of our giveaways was a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi. Gave away a LOT of Pepsi. And had a lot of angry and disappointed people when the promotion ended and we ran out.
