Long sleeve WHITE T-shirt and khaki's.
Tis what I did. Worked good for my mid 90's day of test and later weekend course in Georgia. Pray for a breeze for head relief. Good Luck.
OK. so I'm a day late in offering of help. How'd ya do Pete?
I wore a light shirt and jeans. Threw a long sleeve over it for the riding. It was friggin HOT!
I froze 3 bottles of water and put them in the bags along with 2 regular waters. I ran out just before the end. Did I mention it was friggin HOT! I was majorly fatigued when we finally stopped.
We went though the 9 exercises with no problem. One guy dropped his cruiser in the 20 foot offset slalom. I didn't see it so I don't know how he did it but he recovered.
I had no real problem with anything, 20 foot and 30 foot slalom, the figure 8 box, abrupt turn, emergency stop, emergency swerve, it was all pretty easy. First time I drug a floor board early on it startled me because I didn't think I was that far over. After that one I was dragging all the time
The sport bike guy I was next to most of the day was amazed how I wrestled that big beast around
I told him when they tell us to swap bikes he could use mine
Did all the exercises and never hit a cone or crossed a line. Did the test and hit one "cue cone" on the emergency swerve. I must have hit it just right on the floor board because the guys said I was leaned WAY over and it just shot out about 20 feet and they had to run get it
I figured the lock to lock S turn in 2nd gear would suck but I drug the boards through that and it was a breeze.
I liked the basic rider course a lot better than this one. They are changing the instruction and now on base you have to go back every 3 years. It is going to suck because Active Duty and GS are the only ones who can get on the "list". Everyone else has to show up and be a standby. It is going to suck.
Did I mention it was friggin hot!
