I don't know about you, but I wasn't around when those people stole this land from the natives (just so you don't get offended, that word is not used to describe what kind of people they were, it's used to explain who was here first). I would bet to say that no one single Native-American was here when this land was stolen from the natives hundreds of years ago. I was born here against my will, long after this country was established. Hence, IT'S NOT MY FAULT, NOR WILL I TAKE FAULT FOR IT! There not one single country in this world today that wasn't taken from previous natives of those lands. With the exception of, perhaps, Israel and the Palestinians, no 'natives' to any land run around screaming about how their land was stolen from them.
We can't go back and change any of this; nor should we try. Great countries are born out of terrible times and events. This is a great country. I seriously doubt Native-Americans have any desire for every person not native leave and give it all back to them. I'm willing to bet they love the technology, freedom, form of government, etc... this country has offered all of us. Native-Americans drive cars, own wonderful homes, have running water and plumbing, electricity, cell phones, etc... Would this country have any of this had the "discovery" and settlement never happened?
All that aside, I'm willing to bet if Amerigo Vespucci, Christopher Columbus, and other explorers hadn't found this land, it would have happened eventually. I have no expectations that people like you will ever get over the fact that history is written, and you will do all you can to rewrite it. But, none of your desires and actions will change any of it. It still happened. We are here. And I intend to enjoy life under the best freedom this world knows, while you remain bitter, unhappy, and hateful towards people like me.
