Watching Fox coverage and interviews of all the Tesla protesters yesterday…

I cannot get over the hypocrisy and ignorance of the liberal mind.
A few years ago Elon Musk was their hero for making an electric vehicle.
Now they want to hang him for trying to save America from bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy>>> Yes, bankruptcy. When you owe 36 Trillion dollars and pay 1 Trillion dollars a year in i9nterest and print the money to pay the interest you are bankrupt, whether we admit it or not. Letting that debt grow instead of paying it off at some point will lead to the god damndest recession ,depression, or whatever the hell you want to call it the world has ever seen. We cannot go on forever printing our economy on worthless paper.
I remember not too long ago that Trump was against EVs.

You remember incorrectly, he's not against EVs, he's against government mandated EVs.
I'm against government mandated EVs too, although that never happened. I don't agree with you that that was the only reason he was against them at one point. He's made of number of comments and tweets pre-Elon, the majority of which were mocking. He's even bashed Elon at one point, something about Elon dropping begging to his knees when he's back in the WH, not to mention that he said he was for electric cars, that he had to be because Elon endorsed him very strongly.

And then there were all the voluntary debacles.

Electric School Buses. Electric Transit Buses. Electric Cop Cars. Electric Govt. Vehicles....

Strangely those are all very rare sights these days. I wonder what happened to them?

Went the way of the Stanley Steamer. Just not practical for industrial use.

Yep.

But I still maintain they'd be great for cities and people that don't drive much.

Just not the bulk of a very large nation with a natively rural population.

P.S. And now that electricity rates are climbing steadily, the idea that they are cheaper is becoming a non-issue.

That's a very good point but I thought I read that that were not ordered to buy them something about inflation reduction act lots of savings, don't recall correctly exactly why except that it wasn't mandatory, but financially it made sense.

If you want to see crazy, watch this video of Kaitlin Bennet going to a Tesla protest in Florida this past weekend.

EVs, junk yesterday still junk today, you got that straight now? My position everyday, now get back to yours, on your knees.
Sounds like whining to me!
Funny that your instinct was to put a male on their knees.... fantasize much? Its OK to be that way. No judgement here. Be out and proud!

Already read it and in my opinion, it was the writer's opinion that it was mandatory. There's stuff out there that said it wasn't mandatory, but the financial incentives made it very worthy of consideration. Maybe it's that fine line with the word mandatory.
