WAIT! Before you revert to an idiot.....Isn't the smell created when the insufficient chlorine only partially breaks down the sweat, frog corpse's, bacteria plus Pee? I always ASSumed the pee took much larger doses of chlorine to be sanitized but it wouldn't be the only contaminate to cause the stink.bcp said:Im going to go back to being a total idiot now cause its more fun.

How many kids? Ages? How many assistants do you have on staff to help supervise your charges while at the water park (park staff does NOT count). Do all the kids swim? Have a rider on your auto insurance for daycare business usage? Have signed permission slips from parents? Lawyer on retainer?
I think you forgot the bracket /b bracket at the end of your post. I assume the at the beginning is you trying to bold your post.

90% of the time, adding more will get rid of the smell.greyhound said:oh oh...one more question please....If you smell the chlorine does that mean it's doing its job? or does it mean they need to add more chlorine?

If a pool has adequate chlorine, as well as a constant source of urine (lots of kids) would the smell still be there? Or does it just happen when there isn't enough chlorine?bcp said:90% of the time, adding more will get rid of the smell.
tell me thats not confusing.
they might also need to add a bit of stabilizer.
that should be around 30~50 ppm in a public pool.

Pee is the number one cause.
ok, back to tard boy.
greyhound said:It is nice. It is packed. Has something for all ages. It does have teens running around being rude. Had a 13 year old (+/-) in front of me to get on a slide once. Little kids are all around and he is cussing like a sailor. I tapped him on the shoulder and asked him where his mom was. He said she wasn't at the park. I asked him if she would be proud of the way he was talking. He asked if I knew his mom. I said "yes" and I was going to call her when I got home. You should have seen his face. He didn't say another word. I never heard him cuss again (at least not while I was around). Oh...I didn't know the kid or his mom, but it had him thinking.

Speedy70 said:No.
However, the oldest did go with his mother last week and he ended up with a rash on his legs. We don't know where it came from. Maybe it was the water there.
