OOOOO PURRTYYY! I tried to take a pic of the ring he got me for Christmas but it won't show up well. It's 1.78 carats in total, Center stone is a canary diamond, and there are little white diamonds trickling down the sides. Set in white gold!

True aquamarines (not the blue topaz that a lot of jewelers pass off as aquamarines) are more valuable than diamonds.

Yep, them suckers are expensive. I'm not a big purpley blue fan, but those are fascinating stones.
