Wedding Ring

Bet that plane was expensive.

j/k

It was expensive. As we were looking at trade ins for our anniversary, the guy at Kay Jewelers offered more than what my husband paid for it. We were shocked. He said the stone had no chips or flaws in it except for a minor birth mark, but of course all diamonds have those! I'm gonna get a BIG ONE!!!! I want like a 10 carat. Haha just kidding maybe like 2!

4D, it's a beautiful ring. My mother has the same ring (from her second marriage after my dad died). I've always thought it was beautiful. It was a great ring for my mother since she was older and didn't really want or need an engagement ring. My step father passed away nearly two years ago, she still wears hers.

If I had the $$, I'd buy it just because I think it's beautiful. I have my original wedding bands, my 5 year anniversary wedding bands, and my 10 year anniversary bands. I'm saving them for my kids. They probably won't want them, but they're getting them anyway! If I didn't share kids with my husband, I would melt them down and make something for myself. In your case, since you didn't have children with your wife, I'd sell it really cheap to a fellow forumite  What did you say your favorite liquor was again?

You have to buy new wedding bands every 5 years?!? :cds:
No wonder I'm divorced, I guess I owe her three sets of wedding bands. :killingme

:yahoo:I'm not the only one in the world who wears a size 3 and a half!!!! :yahoo:

PS -- if you have a source for nice rings in that size, please share!

I don't have a source. I usually get rings cut down. If it is a very wide and thick band, I can wear 3 and 3/4 but a 4 is loose.

I have a ring on one pinkie. It's a 1 1/2 or 2

I have a turquoise ring that I bought back in Junior High for my pinkie finger -- size 1! Still fits!

If only the rest of me was that skinny! :killingme

I love rings and can NEVER find them to fit. Most times the ones I really love can't be cut down small enough :bawl:

Whiteflash.com is a great jewler. That is where I got an engagement ring. They could probably make a ring to fit your size.
