The evaporative cooling vest worked great today. Head got a little sweaty in the full face, but I was quite comfortable. That vest is worth the money.

Sorry I missed it. Had another commitment, but damn, I hate riding when it is this hot. I won't take my bike at all this week, cause I can't see putting a jacket on and the boots, etc. I'm a "fair weather rider." Conditions need to be perfect. I didn't even take mine out this weekend, not that I could have even gotten out of the driveway yesterday with the tree cutting debris.

My head was a little damp in the full face, but I was quite comfortable all day. Now the other folks looked a little flushed when we got there
The vest was almost dry by the time we got to Even's, that's about 3/4 gal of water evaporating in about 1 1/2 hours.

I was sweating pretty good but didn't feel bad. So that thing really works eh? Do you have to put it under a jacket?

Probably even more air flow with out a jacket.

I'm not sure who owns that XS 400 but a good resource for info is www.xs11.com Mostly info about XS 1100s but there are guys on there that have a great deal of info about all XSs and atleast one guy on there that has a really nice looking 400.

You can see Bill's GW and Lugnut's Thundercat. Bill is a hell of a tailgunner and a funny guy. I thought I was in a parade with the way he was blocking the intersections. He just needs a tassel on his helmet
