I don't understand the trial. It is cut and died, she is insane. Feelings for revenge or not; NO, and I repeat NO sane person drowns their own kids. Would I like to see her fry, part of me yes because any human mind that is capable of rationalizing drowning their own kids needs to be removed from the gene pool, but was she sane? Without a doubt no.

There was a biography, I think it was on A&E, about her life growing up and what happened leading into the deaths of her children. Makes me sick to my stomach thinking about what she did.

I agree that for someone to do what she did they must be crazy. She is pleading "Innocent by insanity". In order for her to be found innocent by reason of insanity, her lawyers must prove that she did not know that what she did was wrong. She doesn't have the capasity to know right from wrong. IMO, I don't think they can prove this. But I have seen stranger things happen.

Even if she is found "Innocent" by reason of Insanity she wont walk away. She will be institutionalized probably for the rest of her life. what judge is going to review the case in 15 years when she petitions for release, see the circumstances and sign her release order?greyhound said:

I hate hearing of children who are too young to protect themselves tortured at the hands of their parents who are suppose to love and protect them. I think there is a special place in hell for people who harm their children.

I heard a long time ago, she was under doctor's care and given tons of drugs that would have driven anyone insane that was on them, but the doctor’s opinions are controversial (for each one who agrees, there is one who would disagree with that statement).
