Sounds like you're trying to please an obnoxious relative whose last name is Shelby. It's the same mistake as naming a boy "Austin." Having a last name for a first name is as bad as having a first name for a last name ("George Michael" comes to mind).

Now that reminds me of Shel Silverstein who wrote it. His full name is Shelly Silverstein, which is also an odd name for a man. Hmmm. Interesting.

I babysat a baby with that name, not the Rose part, but they spelled it Kaylyn. Her middle name is Madison.

Thats the names Im thinking about if/when I have kids... Memphis William, and Kaylin..not sure for a middle name yet....
